Plovdiv is an excellent city - European city of culture 2019. It is really worth visiting. Hotel Dafi is convenient for the local amenities and sightseeing. The Ancient theatre is a must!

The reception personnel were very helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was delicious with the fresh coffee and fruits. The location is ideal for walking anywhere in the city. I would highly recommend this place.

We arrived late afternoon and were pleasantly surprised to hear that our room had been upgraded to ones at the corner of the building. Very spacious room with lounge area, round bed and great panoramic views of the streets. Breakfast in the morning was satisfying with the usual hot and cold selection. Great location just 5-10 mins walk to the centre of town and also found ourselves one block from a street party. Only potential downside is parking which is a problem in any city. Fortunately staying at a weekend we could park on the street otherwise apparently they do have a small garage

Great location for exploring ild town and Roman amphitheatre. Spoilt for choice of restaurants with great selection within 100m walk. Hotel.com state buffet breakfast available- i was told this had been discontinued with Covid. Could hotels.com please amend their site to reflect this.

Even we had a booking reservation and confirmation from Hotels.com Dafi hotel do not provide a room for us . They help us to get a room in another hotel, which was a quite unpleasant experience to stay. Lessons learned - even you have a confirmation # with you from Hotels.com , call to the hotel to check if you really have a room booked for you.

Very good location and service, we arrived very early from the night train and were given a room without waiting till check in time, much appreciated after sleepless nigh. We booked the cheaper twin room with 2 single beds and they accomodated us by pushing the beds together and redoing the bedding

Good location close to the old town and the main pedestrianised street. Staff a little stiff when asked for help, e.g. did not provide a service of sending a taxi to collect us on our arrival at the train station.

well, the hotel is small, clean , in the heart of Plovdiv, within few steps from the main streets, banks, restaurants, etc, in addition to the above, the hotel prices are quite good, the staff are friendly, helpful, warm, if I shall visit Plovdiv again, I will consider Hotel Dafi.

The hotel is very clean, I was in very quiet room and I was very thankful that the lift is of the quiet type also. They really think about the comfort of their customers. The staff - both shifts (day and night) were very helpful and very polite. They can give you very good info to find your way around the town, about attractions, transport. They can call you a taxi as well. I had early travel at 5am and they helped me. I will definitely stay there again and I,ll recommend this hotel to the other travelers.

This hotel was very reasonably priced. The people at the front desk was very polite and helpful. The laundry service was quite expensive but done well. The breakfast was not too good and similar to the other places in Bulgaria, the staff working the breakfast are not too happy or friendly. This hotel is in a very good location and an easy walk to the Yug bus station. We would stay again!

It was a fun hotel ! Very good location, next to the main street & old town in Plovdiv. I was able to leave my car outside the hotel on the street with no problem. The hotel itself was basicm, but absolutely fine for the price paid. I ate in Hemingway's restaurant a short walk away....upmarket & cheap too,...

I stayed for a week while attending a music seminar at the Music Conservatory near the old town. Hotel Dafi is in a great location for browsing through downtown Plovdiv and the Old Town; many shops, restaurants, and tourist sights in walking distance. Staff is multilingual and very helpful. Room was clean and comfortable, and having the shower head be directly across from the toilet was really not so unworkable. (This seems to be a typical arrangement in Bulgarian hotels.) Free Wi-Fi was very helpful in staying connected. The immediate neighborhood of the hotel, the Kapana, looks a bit rough and undeveloped (narrow cobblestone streets and unfinished building fronts), but I never had an issue or qualms walking around.

This hotel isn't far from the modern centre, and reaching the old town is pretty easy too. The room was reasonably comfortable if a little small, but the lack of any air con or fan meant the room was extremely hot in the evening. although in a quiet location, this was made irrelevant by builders nearby who made a lot of noise in the early morning. Breakfast was a little basic for my needs.
