Loved everything. I would just suggest to install shower curtain bar in room #2 father from the wall to get more room for guests, replace a bit noisy bathroom fan and get more English TV cable channels. Looking forward to my return trip to this cosy hotel.

Gorgeous, big old-fashioned room with large bed and deep soaking tub. So much more character and charm than chain hotels. Would stay here again in a second.

Location was great for exploring Knowlton and the Eastern Townships. It was a bit noisy because lots of big trucks go by.

Lovely historic inn, close to shops and eateries, including the restaurant downstairs. Great cassoulet. Good-sized room, with a nice bathroom. If stairs are a problem, you will need to reconsider your options. Loved the long upstairs balcony at the front of the inn where guests can sit, read, have a drink, etc

The location was good; we could walk to the local book store and the park across the street was nice, but the property hasn’t been well maintained. Tired looking. There were few toiletries; only soap out of a dispenser. The staff, however, was very pleasant and friendly.

It was fun to stay in such an historic place. We had one issue and it really colored our experience. The power went out in the main floor coffee/gathering room. In order to get coffee or tea, we had to carry water up to the 2nd floor. On the way down, we had an accident and spilled coffee. There was no one around, so we used a white hand towel in our room so that no one would fall. We received a rather nasty note that we would be expected to pay for the towel. We paid, but wow - we felt that was out of line considering everything.

Great old fashion hotel, staff very friendly and very helpful. Room was clean. Very basic and it served its purpose well. The only only downside is , that it is a very old building, so it doesn't have an elevator. And it's impossible to install one. So it you have very heavy suitcases, this will be an issue. I do recommend to stay there, because of it's charming old style and the peoples friendliness
