This hotel has all kinds of rooms so be sure to talk about the kind of room they're assigning youtube before you agree to it. I will tell you that the people who work at the front dest work really really hard to make sure that you are enjoying your stay. Don't be afraid to speak up if you have a problem. Same goes for the restaurant with a bartender and the matriday, we're absolutely fabulous

I loved everything about this hotel. Reception was fantastic. Our rooms were incredible and the location was perfect.

Room was very nice and clean, staff were very friendly and helpful during check in and made that a breeze, the toiletries for the bathroom were very nice. The parking was free and easy to use.

The bed at this hotel was the most comfortable I’ve had at any hotel for a long time. My room was large, comfortable and clean and I had no complaints. The hotel is very clean, very spacious, has lots of amenities and is in a great location next to the harbor. The parking arrangement in the adjoining multi storey parking lot is very easy and convenient, but cost $18.95 + tax daily, which is pricey. I guess that’s typical though for a city area where buildings don’t have their own parking lot spaces, so I’m OK with that. The breakfast was included in my room, but if it hadn’t been, I would never have eaten breakfast there at $19 + tax, especially since I’m vegan and they didn’t even have any plant based butter for toast, or any vegan items on the menu. The hotel elevator requires you to use your room key to access any floor, so although that’s a bit of a pain to keep scanning your key every time you use the elevator, it does convey a small sense of security that no one can use the elevator unless they are staying there. One thing I found a little annoying was that when I checked in, they gave me a password for the secured internet access, but when I got to my room and logged on, I discovered that their wifi internet was actually open, with no password. I tried several times, but there was definitely no secured connection there, so I had to use an open, unsecured connection, which I wasn't happy about. If I visit St John in the future, I will most likely stay here again.

Front desk personnel were very helpful - parking is a bit tricky - need to check in using the King St. entrance to the main lobby before parking. ( GPS may take you to the wrong entrance ) Our room was excellent with a good view of the harbour. Good location for downtown and the large farmers market.

We stayed there 40 years ago for honeymoon and came back a lot over the years So we went this weekend for our 40th anniversary. The breakfast buffet was amazing

We were only there overnight for a dance competition , we were pleasantly greeted . Everyone was so nice , at the front desk they offered a valet service which was incredibly helpful . The little extra water enhancers were such a nice little touch ! We will definitely stay again
