Excellent!!!

The location was excellent - very walkable. I loved running along the canal in the morning. Very comfortable room with plenty of space and was equipped with all we needed. The staff was very friendly at checkin. Special thanks to Daniela who was very helpful inalong sure we had enough ice for our water bottles en route to the Grand Prix. I would have liked to have stayed longer, as we felt at home at the Griffintown Hotel.

Location felt safe and walkable, and the suite was clean.

I’ve stayed at Hotel Griffintown numerous times and generally appreciated the convenience and setup. However, my most recent experience was disappointing. I stayed in an Apartment, where the Wi-Fi was nearly unusable throughout the visit — something I haven’t encountered in previous stays. Worse still, after checking out, I discovered an attempted break-in on my car, with scuff marks clearly visible around the window lining. I had parked directly in front of a security camera and immediately contacted the hotel. I was told a manager would review the footage and get back to me. That was 21 days ago, and I’ve received no follow-up since. While I’ve had better experiences in the past, the lack of reliable Wi-Fi and the hotel’s failure to address a serious security issue have made me rethink future visits.

The condo is well located, there is a executive room downstairs and a bar which is convenient. View from upper floors are beautiful especially of downtown Montreal. Condo’s kitchen, bathrooms and in-suite laundry is great. Furniture needs to be updated. The sofa in the living area of the smal condo was awful, needs a little more elevated decor for the high price.

Great stay, everything you needed was on hand and the location was great - a little outside of the core downtown so quieter but easily walkable to all the restaurants and sights.

For the cost of the room, it was poorer quality than you would expect. Shower caddy kept falling off. Small towels, dirty area carpet in the bedroom, very uncomfortable couch. All would be fine if it was 150 a night cheaper. It’s just overpriced.

I checked in May 30th at 2am in the morning. I called the hotel and told them that I was going to be coming in after 1am and they said it was no prob. I come in to see the front desk concierge full on deep sleeping at his desk. Go check your cameras for evidence. I had to wake him up. Once woken up he was barely able to speak or understand anything I was saying and seemed very annoyed. He kept saying "I'll bring everything to you" when I had no idea what he was talking about, he must have confused me for someone else and wanted to end the convo. I told him I wanted to check in multiple times until he finally understood. He gave me two card keys, didn't tell me what room I'm even in. I had to ask. He gave me a fob key for the garage and didn't tell me what spot was mine, I had to ask. He charged me for one night parking when I was staying for 3 so I had to remind him and pay twice. He didn't give me any of the receipts after payment either. Rude and unprofessional were the first impressions I got for this hotel. He gave me the wrong spot number and I got a note on my car the next day saying I parked in a spot not meant for me and my car will be towed by the hotel. I spoke to someone else and figured out that he gave me the wrong info. The room itself had stains on the counter in both the kitchen and the washroom. There were hairs in the sink and crumbs on tables which led me to believe that the cleaners don't clean. Hard furniture and beds. Impossible to sleep.

My second home

Everything was almost surreal good except that the living room had no curtains and apartments on the neighboring building was very close by, thus causing loss of privacy at night. The bedroom had full black out shade, though. This fully furnished apartment approach to a hotel room is extremely comfortable and much better than a regular hotel room. We will stay at this hotel again next time we visit Montreal.

Walkable to many restaurants, nice neighborhood, super friendly and helpful staff. Right by a dog park and we saw several visitors with their dogs. 5 minute uber to downtown.

Awesome place and stay here often.

A good place to stay

Great location and pleasant staff. Poor quality towels and no washcloths are my only complaints
