Amazing stay and hotel ❤️ we had a very pleasant 1 night stay in the train station building and enjoyed the spa and farm. We got we came for, a calm stay, environmentally friendly concept and plenty of rest and amazing views. Will certainly come back !

Mixed review. Had to really think about this one. I did not realize our building had no elevator. We were on the lower level but had to walk up a ramp to the building and then down two flights of stairs. Also the bed was on a platform which meant that my husband who has mobility issues with neuropathy was compromised at times So pay attention to the building you want. Best part were the cattle and the outdoor patio. Would go back but we have a better idea of what we would request.

We had a great a stay at Hotel Spa, Le Germain Charlevoix. A couple things I noticed that were slightly irritating; The hotel has multiple buildings and if you are not staying in the main building there is no room service. There is a Spa Nordique with hot tubs cold plunges and saunas. This is not included in your stay and is a $60 per day fee. The spa is only open from 10am to 6pm (10-8 Fri. & Sat). Many people who stay at the hotel are skiing at the nearby (20-30min) Le Massif, us included. If you end your ski day at 3:30 (closing), get undressed and drive back to the hotel. Realistically you won't be at the spa until 4:30 at the earliest. Thus you only have an 1.5hrs to enjoy the facilities. $60 for 1.5hrs seems a little steep. Keeping the spa open until at least 8pm during the week and 10pm on weekends would make a lot more sense. A discounted rate for hotel guests would also be nice. Room options seem to be geared towards families, bunk beds etc. However the hotel doesn't offer much for kids to do, outside of the swimming pool in the summer only. The spa, for obvious reasons, does not allow kids. Rooms are unique and quite nice however there does seem to be some wear and tear starting to show. Dings and dents in the drywall, missing towel hooks, lights not working and the operable window was sticking, small & poor quality TV. Baie-Saint-Paul is beautiful & very quaint, shops close early 5 or 6pm. Make sure you make dinner reservations, not many options.

The Spa was overcrowded, Issue in the room like heated floor not working . Layout odd between walking between buildings . Parking over crowded for guest staying at the hotel .

No valet. No parking upon our arrival. No bellman. Inconsistent in comparison with Toronto properties. Conference took precedent over our check-in. I was asked to wait 15 minutes until they were done helping conference goers with water and soft drink purchases. Very nice concierge. Likely won’t stay here again.

This St Germain is a cool looking hotel in a beautiful environment but doesn’t live up to the standards of St Germain or any 4 star hotel. Pros - cool looking - some good design: games area and restaurant is social in the evening, - staff show effort, but Cons - requests to the front desk would disappear into the void - we would wait 30 mins after a simple request and when you call back they have no idea what’s happening - the gym is the worst gym I’ve ever experienced in any hotel, of any quality, ever. They could easily have used the unnecessary rooms next door to expand the gym. It is an embarrassment, especially given the amount of space on the property. - there was a general dismissiveness. I asked for a coffee at breakfast and was told the coffee maker is broken. No offer to get a coffee from the restaurant upstairs, no alternative proposed: it was just “no”. They also sell as a family hotel and have no kids menu. - in general they need more offerings and offers on poor weather days when there’s no skiing (the gym, as set out above, is useless). The skating rink looks stunning on a cold day, but if it’s too warm it turns into a taped off puddle. Why not make it an artificial rink to give people something to do on warmer days? - there is no instruction on anything - you have to figure everything out yourself when you get into your room (and getting into the rooms with lots of luggage is a headache). In general just a bit of a let down.

The farm and grounds made the property unique.The Nordik spa was a wonderful addition

It was an amazing experience from check in to checkout. The staff was super kind, helpful and answered all our questions. Everything was seamless and went about smoothly

The room was cute but small - don’t think that was a queen size bed! The the staff varied from being very helpful to almost surly. No info available about services or the area, which I was expecting to find. The spa personelle are extremely nice and I had a wonderful massage.

The concierge Lōuise was terrific. Pool was closed. Disappointed.

The room is extremely clean and have all the amendities that you need, even slippers! I recommend this place and would definitely come back!

The property has simple style but is maintained very well. I will stay again but more than one night.

Great place to stay to disconnect. Very tranquil hotel grounds. Clean rooms and common areas. Will definitely be coming back.
