This will probably be a great place in the near future. Unfortunately there was construction going on and my room was rather dusty from drywall and the smell of fresh construction was overpowering to the point that i spent some of the night awake ventilating (the river was nice at least). I really needed sleep but at 7:30am hammering and drilling or grinding was so loud that my bed was vibrating from whatever was going on in the next room.
The river trail was nice.

They are currently doing renovations, so there are unfinished construction items visible everywhere in guest areas.
The room was newly renovated and beautifully done, however the halls and elevator were still padded for construction with dust around.

The hotel is new and interestingly built with many First Nations elements. The museum and longhouse in the courtyard were very unique and the tour was a great experience. The only downside was the air conditioning system which was extremely old, inconvenient and bulky, waking us up all night. I hope they replace it with newer technology. The restaurant was fancy but there was no breakfast or dinner buffet or affordable meals inside so we had to leave the hotel to eat.

The Hôtel-Musée Premières Nations is a must-stay for anyone wanting to visit the Quebec City area in a place surrounded by nature and Indigenous history. Everything at this hotel is about experience. Do not miss out on the food at the restaurant. My breakfast was so good that I tried to eat it slowly just to savour it. Check out the museum too. The rooms are pretty big and spacious. I am not too sure how to feel about the Murphy-beds though. They are not that comfortable. I give cleanliness an 8/10. The staff was clearly in a rush to get our room ready and perhaps forgot to clean under the bed. My other favourite feature about the hotel is that it is pet-friendly which bodes well for us and our 4-legged.
