The Good: Location: You’re central to so many places, easy nice walk to great food, big events, etc. Transportation nearby and pretty easy to and from other parts of town with Uber. Lobby: Covered entrance, so no worries about rain. Valets, Concierge, and several front desk staff available. Carts for luggage, umbrellas for loan, mini mart store for snacks and drinks open 24/7. Gym: Lot equipment that all seemed in good shape or newer. They loan massage and stretching kits. The sauna is in the pool area left as you come through the door. There’s a restroom with several rooms to change and shower if needed. Room: Pretty spacious with good space to store everything and while I’d read the pillows can be tough, I didn’t have an issue with mine. Staff: Housekeeping and front desk were all either friendly or great at suggesting an alternative. The Rest: I didn’t interact with any of the Valets, but they were pretty often just loitering in the path of the escalators. One guy was behind the valet desk furiously typing when I was trying to return an umbrella…no acknowledgment. The hotel is huge, so plan for a walk any time you go down for a ride, are going to workout, etc. Housekeeping changed the sheets on one of the beds but just didn’t replace the sheet and the other bed had some stain. The shower design is probably the worst I’ve seen in a while, awkward to turn on, splashes everywhere and the drain is loud. The mini-mart scanner works about 30% of the time.

As expected!

This is a well located hotel in old Montreal, close to so many adorable cafes and restaurants. I attended for a conference and found it hard to get to the conference rooms given how few elevators there were, and how spread the conference was across 4 floors of the hotel. Leaving the hotel for meals was essential because the restaurant and cafe were flooded with conference goers at peak times. Unfortunately, our TV did not work during our stay. Overall, really enjoyed this location and the rooms were tidy with everything we needed.

3rd time back, great place to stay.

This hotel is kinda old and not well maintained. We got pillows that were completely uselss because they were so old (no substance in the pillow). We asked for more pillows and then got the same old kind that you really can't sleep on... also feels a little cheap that they don't put any beauty amenities unless you ask specifically. Overpriced for what you get.
