Bed was pretty good, other than that, ther was no toilet paper in the room, just a hand towel and face cloth, rust rings in tub, paint peeling off all the walls, a tv that you needed a telescope to see, two wooden chairs and a tiny sticky table, doos look like they were kicked in and poorly repaired, floors were sticky. I wasn't expecting 5 star, but wow, that was terrible. Will never go there again.

What I saw online was not what I was met with. The property was poorly kept, check in/ reception area looked very sketchy. The property on a whole looked sketchy. I went with my 1yo and my husband and we initially booked a standard queen with 2 beds, upon checking in they asked if we would like to upgrade to a premium king room we said we’d consider depending on how the standard queen looked. We went and checked out the standard room and it was absolutely disgusting, beds not properly made, room looked like it was not cleaned at all and it reeked of cigarette smell, we immediately declined. Went to the king room and it was still underwhelming, floors were dirty and disgusting, bathroom was gross, bed was not properly made, sheets and pillow cases were dirty, room smelled like mildew. My partner and I had to clean and sanitize the space and made it work since we were unable to get other accommodations for our weekend stay. Book with caution, we were highly disappointed.

Breakfast consisted of an egg salad sandwhich in saran wrap,a small celophane wrapped banana muffin and a juice box. Went to get them for our room(3 people) and they only had 1. They did get us more but they had to be made up(somewhere?) Our daughters room(2 people) went to get theirs and they had 1 again they left and made up another. Their internet(tv did not work the entire stay(2 nights). The staff tried but ultimately it was a lack of internet that was the problem(hotel didn't have a proper internet package to service needs). Our tv did not work the second day. Also Cockroaches in both rooms. Dirty everything. Squished cockroach on the tub tiles. And started seeing live ones when you knew they were present. We've stayed in questionable accomadations in Mexico, Italy, India etc and this was definitly the worst. Unfortunatley we are in Saskatoon to visit Dad, Grandpa at end of life and budget didnt allow us to leave. Something going on in city and just about everything booked up. Motel 6 wanted close to $400/night per room. We had prebooked this place as soon as we knew Dads situation. Did I mention that this is a hotel that rents rooms by the hour if you know what I mean. Had no issues with the staff just a disgusting dirty cockroach infested place

Despite the rooms being a little dated decor wise. It was definitely clean. The bedsheets were clean. Bed and pillow very comfy. There have been a lot of negative reviews about the midtown inn. But I would stay there again. You get what you pay for - if you want five stars at five star prices then go find that hotel. If you want a basic room that’s warm, dry and clean. This is the place for you. It was a good night’s sleep for us. Hubby had just come out of day surgery at the local hospital. We appreciated the kindness of staff members who helped us immensely with our late booking (hospital recommended we stay in the city overnight instead of driving home) I genuinely would recommend this motel - like I said you get what you pay for - but it was everything we needed for last minute our overnight stay. Thank you to all the staff at the midtown inn - for your kindness and hospitality. We appreciated it

Genuinely the most disgusting hotel I’ve ever laid eyes on. Stained bedding, hair in the towels, burn marks on the furniture, garbages not emptied. When I tried to complain the front desk guy got an attitude about it. Would never recommend this place to absolutely anyone. Disgusting- the photos are just small glimpses of how gross it is. Should’ve taken so many more.
