Motel Newstar Laval

The people at the hotel were very kind. We came there at 2 AM. Someone from the staff woke up just to help us, and they also accommodated us for an extra hour of checkout which I really appreciated because we travelled from so far I would definitely recommend the motel.

Ok so the motel is average and ordinary. It was quiet while I was there which is nice and I didn't interact with any of the staff because I got there late (9h30) and left around 10am. It was clean but the bedding is all white and so you can imagine that yes there were some stains. I had a blanket with me so I didn't even undo the bed, slepped ontop of the covers with my two frenchies. Yes they accept dogs but there is an extra fee of 50$/ dog which is... wow! It was a last minute reservation so I took it because I was tired. All in all, if it's for a long stay, dont bother. Perhaps the Hotel part is better idk. By the way, it's a small room and the mattress was sunk in the middle.

My stay was great comfortable only slept there then left afterwards but all and all quite nice room.

The shower had no soap holder and no towel holder. Desk and chair are missing.

There is construction right behind the motel, which woke us up at 6am every morning. It sounded like the roof was going to be caving in. Also, even though I booked online and paid online through Expedia, the hotel fraudulently charged me for my stay (even though I explained to the staff member that I had already paid and shown proof). They refused to refund me for the double charge and after two full days of fighting with the hotel and Expedia, they eventually gave me a refund but reminded me that they were doing me a favor as I booked a non-refundable room and they will not be charging me a penalty. Long story short, they charged me for my room even though I showed them proof that I already paid and construction woke everyone up. Avoid this motel at all costs.

J’ai réservé avec expédia.ca et je n’ai pas eu le prix de expédia. Je suis vraiment déçue. Si vous ne nous donner pas les prix correct quand on réserve avec expédia, cela me donne quoi de réserver en ligne …RIEN DU TOUT. Hier j'ai payé $87.10 pour ma nuit 23-24 mars et aujourd’hui j’ai payé 122.14 pour ma nuit du 24-25 mars. Il y a un gros problème sur votre site. J’ai réservé et vous ne l’avez pas reçu . Ma confiance diminue avec ce système. Plus j’ai téléphoné et personne ne parle français. Vous me devez 35.04…je me le rappellerai. Nice room ..very clean...a little chilly though and the wifi never worked.

The location was perfect. Easy walking distance form restaurants . The room was clean and comfortable.

Le plancher etait très froid. Ce nest qu'à notre depart que nous avons vu que lexterieur etait visible dans le bas de la porte. Il etait possible de constater que la serrure de notre chambre a ete forcée dans le passé. Pas très rassurant!

Location was convenient. Towels were limited. Room smelled of smoke.

Mal insonorisé ont pouvais entendre la personne parler à côté de nous … rénovation fait à la botch … ont voyais le jour dans le bas de la porte d’entré trou dans le blancher bas du mur avec supplément souris ont les entendais gratté … il avais des coulisses jaune sur les mur l’arrière de la toilette étais sale
