Quality Inn Centre-Ville

The hotel was generally nice, seemed like it was recently renovated in some areas, the staff was friendly and helpful. The Queen bed room was a good size but it lacked some storage and surfaces to spread out your things as you take them out of your luggage. Same in the washroom, more surfaces or hangers would be great. Usually hotels will have water in the mini fridge and provide glasses but not here. The breakfast was really underwhelming though, I think that’s my biggest downside of this property, I love a breakfast buffet but the options were incredibly limited. Every day it was just omelettes, sausages, instant oat meal, sliced bread, 3 options for cereal, and milk / yogurt, apples, oranges, a pancake machine and pre-packaged mini muffins. For a 4 night stay at $900 with breakfast included I hoped there would be a bit more. Still, there are so many cafes and restaurants around the area, I would say definitely skip the included breakfast if you’re staying here and just eat out. Other than that, it was a good stay!

Pretty good stay. Front desk lady was super friendly. I don't really like the layout. My room faced an interior courtyard and there was barely any natural light. First day at breakfast the eggs and sausage were cold (machine broke). I also tried to use the pancake machine and it was broken as well. It's still a safe place to stay but just average.

The room was very small, but just fine for 2 people with lots of plans in the city. It was clean and comfortable. Easy walk to Théâtre St. Denis and the few restaurants nearby. You need to take an Uber ride if you want to do more downtown or in Old Montreal. Staff were professional and welcoming. The breakfast was a great way to start the day. The fitness centre is visible to the breakfast area through glass doors. I would recommend frosting that glass somehow because it’s awkward to be on display to diners while on the treadmill.

The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Jay answered every question and gave us good tips on where to get the best poutine and smoked meat! He was also great at providing directions... A really nice fellow. :) Our only complaint was the noise. They were doing some kind of repair right outside our door and it was loud for quite a long time... Now it was late morning/early afternoon and we understand that repairs need to be done, so I'm not making a big deal about it... Just saying that it was loud!

This hotel was fine - just what one would expect from a Quality Inn. A decent room and decent breakfast. The 24/7 hot drinks station in the lobby is nice. A 5 minute walk to St. Catherine Street, St. Denis Street and the Berri station.

I am disaapponted on my stay because there is a bed bug that bitten me and I did not have a good sleep at all.The room smells and exhausr fan is not working in the washroom.I told the receptionist about the bugs but I get no good response from her to to address the issue.Unprofessional staff and worst experience ever.If possible I want some refund on my money!

Overall, very nice room and stay at this hotel! Very central to food and Montreal sights. Breakfast is very good! We enjoyed the coffee maker available at the lobby a lot!

Breakfast was great and the lobby had a nespresso machine that made different coffees and hot chocolate. Staff were all very friendly. Great location on a quiet street near the metro.

Stayed for 8 nights. Housekeeping never came until 2nd last night even though I asked to have it done after they had not come for 3 days

Amazing experience from beginning to end.

The hotel is very clean and the staff are super polite and willing to help. We arrived very late at 6pm to 7pm on the Saturday then the only option is a room with no desk or chair which are listed as part the amenities. I went to the front desk to express my concerns because my husdand and I need to take turns to work remotely during the travel and the desk/chair are something we cannot do without. The front desk took notes and offered us a change of room at 11:30am next day. I was thrilled to see how considerate and how fast the front desk staff acted on this matter. The free breakfast is a nice compliment for a hotel in such a central location at such a reasonable price. The food choices are good enough - the best part is that you can make fresh pancakes right on the spot. The coffee machine at the lounge is an angel - it makes all types of coffee, and above all, it serves in 24x7. I am very happy for my stay and would recommend Quality Inn Centre-Ville if you are looking for a downtown hotel with the right price and good amenities.
