This property is clean, quiet and easy to find. It is a good stop over for travellers. It was nice to be able to go downstairs to the food area for dinner after a long day out

We had a late check in, the worker was fast and energetic.
Restaurant food was excellent! Food was delicious and fresh.

Its a very cute small hotel, that serves well to the travellers en route. Hotel is a little older, but clean and well maintained. Staff is very kind and friendly, helped me sort out a lower level room (i didnt need kitchenette but wanted to stay close to my car. There is a nice lake in the town (Eleanor lake), two gas stations with a well stacked convenient store, another hotel, and TONS of mosquitoes, bring repellant (gas station store had it for sale) Beautiful views from the hotel evening and morning. There is also a restaurant on aire with a good menu selection.

Hotel is in rough shape. Shower curtain was pretty dirty. Check out time is 11am but the cleaning staff will let themselves into your room at 830 without knocking first.

Front desk agent was ok - he did mention the hot water issue - which was fine- but you had to ask questions - breakfast time open, access to rooms, etc.
The hotel was really dirty - carpets, window sills, windows, The rooms were basically clean but not thoroughly clean. (Into corners, ledges etc). Beds were super used - new mattresses, furniture damaged etc
Overall the hotel needs some upkeep and improvements and some serious cleaning. It’s tired and another coat of paint isn’t the answer nor a quick swish of a rag.

They have done some upgrades to the rooms but unfortunately the upkeep by housekeeping was so poor that the uncleanliness of the room overshadowed everything else. White stains on the bathroom walls, toenails IN the sheets, dirty tub, mold forming on the bathroom ceiling....other minor things too, mounds of dust ect, I could go on. We dare not shower, couldn't hardly sleep as we where grossed out. I would not recommend staying here!!! Unfortunately it says my photos exceed the size limit, but trust my....so nasty. I am not usually one for negitive reviews but I need to warn people! My Google review will have pictures.

Awful stay.
Room had an absolutely atrocious smell. We thought it might go away with the air con, it did not. Smelled like 30 years of smoke and whatever else and a15 minute cleanup with over powered cleaning product. So bad that the next day we realized all of the clothes that was even in our suitcases even smelled. Had to rewash everything, even the clean clothes. Even my backpack needed to be washed. Cannot overstate the terrible smell.
Room was quite dirty as well, and so were the halls.
