JW Marriott Hotel Beijing

We stay from 17-24 May (7 nights) The receptionist held deposit 12000RMB when we checked-in. When we checked-out the cost was 8342.73RMB. The receptionist told me there will be a refund to my account in its original form. On 29May I received 200RMB from them. I immediate send email to ask and phone call to followed. My reply was have to be checked my bank cause the money 3657.27RMB was returned. I don’t know how and where to get help to have my money back. The ridiculous was the hotel ask me to call Expedia to find out what happened. They took money from my credit card and insisted returned. I still waiting there investigation!! This was my very bad experience I ever had in the past.

I booked executive room and my daughter booked regular room. The two rooms are exactly the same. It's dispointing. The food and drink in executive lounge are limited. The staffs in the lounge do not take initiative to serve gusets. There are several time slots everyday, that the lounge has nothing. The breakfast area, there is a wood piece on each table, one side is 'in use' and other sid eis 'free'. The staffs do not pay attention to the gusets sitting on tables. Even guests have left long time ago, the staffs still leave the tables as 'in use'. Each morning, we had trouble to get seated. I noticed many 'in use' table never had anyone sitting there. In the lobby, ther eare only 2 safa chairs and 1 love seat, together only 4 seats. All other seats are for restaurant and bar, had to pay to sit there. We stayed for 10 days, many small things make us feel uncomfortable. Very dispointed stay.

I really enjoyed stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly. I also contacted the concierge several times about ordering a taxi, various excursions, and so on. Everything was organized in the best possible way

Everything was amazing but the sheets on the bed smelled a little musty, when they changed the sheets it was better but still had a smell to it

Friendly and helpful staff. If breakfast buffet can have more variety and more frequent changes would be perfect.

**Review of JW Hotel Beijing:** The hotel staff at JW Hotel Beijing is exceptionally friendly and attentive. They did a great job maintaining cleanliness throughout our stay, which we greatly appreciated. However, we booked this hotel expecting a high-end experience similar to what we've enjoyed at other JW locations in the U.S. Unfortunately, our stay was significantly marred by the large number of low-level tour groups that the hotel accommodates. The lobby and elevator areas were often noisy and filled with guests demonstrating inconsiderate behavior. This atmosphere detracted from the exclusive and luxurious experience we anticipated, making it feel more like a low-cost hotel. If you're seeking an exclusive and serene experience, this may not be the best choice. Based on our experience, we will not book here again in the future.
