홍차호공항(특히 1번 터미널)에서 매우 가까운곳에 있으며 , 교통이 혼잡하지 않은곳에 있어서 인지 택시로 오가는데 거의 막히지 않았습니다 (택시비가 대략 25-30위안정도 ). 특히 저는 머무는중에 홍차오에서 기차를 이용하기도해서 오고 가는것이 위치상 매우 편리 했습니다. 더불어 가격도 매우 좋았으며 룸관리도 깨끗하고 조용 했습니다. 주위에 전철역도 가까이 있어서 , 전철이 이용하려는 경우에는 편리한 부분이 있다고 생각합니다.. 주위에 한국이들이 사는지 , 한국사우나 및 음식점이 한곳 있었습니다. 건너편에 큰 쇼핑몰이 있고 , 지하에 슈퍼가 있어서 이용이 편리합니다.

Should have been non-smoking, but next to my room occupants were smoking at 2.00 a.m. and talking a loud. Two things: lack of smoke detector, and wall between room no-sound proof.

Front desk people speaks loud at me to prove they are right. Almost yelled at me. It's incredible.
You can see that the service is very poor.
I booked this Mercure because the one at Jiuting is closed at that time.
If you have the choice, book Mercure Jiuting instead. No bad surprise for sure there.

I stayed there because of the (relative) proximity to Hongqiao train station. I arrived late. The front desk could not speak English. No options for a late dinner (room service or otherwise). The room has a smelly bathroom (mold), and while I had reserved a non-smoking room, the entire room reeked of cigarette smell. Pillows were bad, and the window looked directly into another room. There was a constant noise (central AC humming maybe?) that prevented a restful sleep. Walls are paper thin so you hear people talking in the adjacent room (and I am seriously deaf). I had to argue to have breakfast because I did not purchase a package (the host would literally deny me entry even though I offered to pay. They would not take Visa for payment (in a hotel!!) at breakfast, only cash. The breakfast was mediocre, with pastries at least 3 days old.

I was relocated to this hotel in the middle of the night because the one I booked lost my reservation. This hotel was a nice place to stay, but unfortunately I only was able to stay for a few hours. The rooms are spacious and include many amenities.

Generally the stay was alright except that the room that i was allocated happened to be surround with noisy neighbours and the wall seem to be thin as I am able to hear neighbour or people in the corridor talking. Other than that, it was a good stay.

Hotel seemed fairly new, and was a nice stay. I did have some problems with the wifi when i arrived, but front desk helped me get that sorted out. I stayed for a business meeting, and the area is not too exciting. There is a lot of construction going on, and there are food options, although many may not appeal to westerners. This is more of an issue because the hotel doesn't have a real restaurant on site for dinner.
