I cannot recommend this hotel. It seems that the hotel sought to block my original review, which was just the first sentence. So, I’ll give a full review: this hotel was horrible, the staff at the front desk and concierge were rude and unwelcoming. The room was not very clean. The entrance to the hotel was built in such a way that didi drivers could not easily access it and consequently my spouse and I were forced to cross the street to enter or exit our car hire. The room was also cramped and the furniture was tired. Generally speaking this hotel and the staff were a major low point of my trip and represented a distinct abnormality when compared with every other hotel I stayed at. It does not surprise me that my original review was protested by this hotel despite it being just the single first sentence you see here - the individuals who manage this hotel do not seem to be willing to accept honest feedback.

Breakfast was good and can be better organized. My son saw a mouse jump over his foot running into the kitchen on the last day which is concerning. Rooms are well equipped but tight. Staff was cooperative but failed to deliver the laundry to room stating left a message to pickup from front desk, which was not convenient. Location was perfect, center of Nanjing rd easy to get in and out, minutes from metro station. Has an excellent spa on 4th floor.

We were a little disappointed with the hotel. We booked an executive suite but it looked quite different to the photos (not as nice). Breakfast was not great - hot food was either luke warm, or cold, and none of the coffee machines were working properly and none of the staff rectified the issue. The positive’s was that the bed was comfortable, the room was quiet, and the location of the hotel is very good. If we return to Shanghai we wouldn’t stay here again.

You can't go wrong when you stay in a hotel that is strategically located right at the heart of Nanjing Road West, the shopping district and pedestrian mall. The Bund is only a few hundred meters down the road. In addition, Hop On Hop Off busses are close by. The room is well furnished, clean and comfortable to be our home away from home during our stay in Shanghai.

Expedia platinum VIP ACCESS Not recognised. No perks so don’t book if you’re planning to for the vip access perk. The place was abit old. Still acceptable, nothing fancy. For the price, seems reasonable. Bed was good. 3 pillow, each. Winter seems to be abit warm. Personally try to make it cold but couldn’t get the room to be cold. Location is really good nevertheless. A lot of things below and towards walking distance. Hotel lobby pick up point and drop off is kinda bad. Taxi driver usually drop you off opp the hotel because they couldn’t go up or find the location to go up to lobby drop off(at level 2). Not hotel fault but design is abit weird. Overall I booked my stay because of vip access perks and location. Since the perks was a let down, I won’t recommend this place and won’t be staying here again. But overall, location is really good if you like busy street below.

I was disappointed with my recent stay at the Radisson. The overall condition of the hotel appears poorly maintained and quite dated. The bedroom walls were dusty, which was concerning, especially given that the bed was positioned directly against the wall. This gave the impression that the room had not been cleaned thoroughly. While I expected a higher standard from a hotel of this brand, the lack of upkeep significantly affected my comfort and experience. I hope management will address these maintenance and cleanliness issues to meet the expectations associated with the Radisson name.
