The property is run impeccably with friendly, first rate service. Our rooms were clean, comfortable, and had great views. The breakfast buffet had a very large selection and everything was fresh and delicious. The staff was happy to accommodate our requests and help out whenever possible. Overall a great experience and would stay here again!

Excellent hotel

Great Location. Big and Clean Room with a spectacular view of the river and the bridge. Great Breakfast and services. Nothing wrong with my stay. Two Thumbs up!

Good location and service; water pressure is excellent for shower

We checked in twice this week by Front Desk Yvonne Liu - she provided exceptional service and prioritizes customer. Bellman Ma also exceptional service attentive and helpful. Overall pleasant stay with staff and service. Would have appreciated clean windows to view the garden view clearly.

Great location, nice for walking along the river walkways, lots of restaurants and bars in the area , coffee shops around also.

this is a very large hotel. Not very exciting and the rooms were dated

I stayed this since 2013. Up till now, they keep the same quality of service with good F&B.

I highly recommend staying in a room with business lounge access. They provide a buffer breakfast, afternoon tea and buffer happy hour. A lovely stay.

React and solve the issue promptly. Staffs are pleasant and helpful. Food is good and fresh.

Horizon Club is a Must have to differentiate from other hotels and service..

We stayed at Shangri La Chengdu on March 27th, 2018. The stay was pleasant and the staff was very nice, as with most Shangri La hotels. We were also informed at check-in that the first round of the mini bar was free. We used the mini bar accordingly and there was no charge. We traveled to another city for 4 days and returned back to the same Shangri La hotel. This time, although we reserved the same club room, the room was a grade lower. No electric curtains, towels for only one person, etc. When I asked if the first round of mini bar would be free, I can tell that the staff reluctantly said yes. We used the mini bar slightly, just a little snack for my son. There was no mention of any charges for the mini bar at check out. However, Shangri La charged me $21 after I returned to the state. When I sent an email expressing the inappropriateness of the $21 charge. No response from the hotel. It's not so much the $21. It is the lacked of proper notice at check out and a lacked of professionalism. Basically, we had no say. I've traveled the world. This is not how other Shangri la hotels behave. Very disappointing.

Quality consistent but sometimes it is difficult to get a taxi at the hotel.
