Mangrove Beach Corendon Curacao All Inclusive Resort Curio

We had a fabulous stay at the Mangrove. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful :)

I was for 1 week and the staff was so rude. The room so dirty, never change the sheets for the beds for 1 week. My kids get sick there from the foods. I NEVER BE AGAIN THERE.

The property does not have enough staff, and restaurant reservations are very limited because they only have enough personnel to serve a few tables per restaurant. This forced me to eat at the buffet, even though there are seven a la carte restaurants available. There is no restaurant for breakfast or lunch everything has to be at the buffet. The beach is too rocky, making it hard to enjoy. The place it’s clean and friendly personal but very disappointing to be honest

Your Staff is rude and simply not polite.... I have traveled extensively and not encountered staff that acted as if I were at the DMV...

The food was awful

While the marketing for The Corendon At Mangrove Beach Resort is undeniably compelling, the reality of the guest experience falls considerably short of expectations. Upon arrival, the check-in process was inefficient. Despite arriving after the designated check-in time, our rooms were not prepared, resulting in an one-hour delay. Furthermore, the failure to provide towel cards for our entire party necessitated an additional trip back to the reception desk. The front desk staff exhibited a distinct lack of attentiveness and professionalism, appearing more engrossed in personal cell phone usage and conversations than guest service. Notably, the bellman provided the sole positive interaction; he was welcoming and had a helpful demeanor. The resort is dated, and a noticeable lack of general upkeep was evident, with litter present throughout the grounds. Accessing dining options proved challenging which often resulted in lengthy waits for what ultimately amounted to mediocre food and subpar service. The buffet experience was particularly disappointing, a consistent shortage of plates, an unhygienic environment with prevalent flies, and food that was mediocre, at best. Service across the resort was consistently underwhelming. Bartenders at various locations displayed a disengaged and often irritate attitude. The absence of pool or beachside beverage service was a notable inconvenience, particularly given the inclination of guests to tip generously.

I liked about this resort that it was very convenient to walk to the city. It’s only a 10 minute walk. I also like the fact that he has a beautiful beach. The resort is big enough is not too small not too big you can get between the buffet, the room and the beach Very easily. The best food you will find at the buffet. We did not like the sit down restaurants, and also the fact that it’s almost impossible to get a reservation, but you don’t miss much because the food that they offer at the restaurants you can also find at the buffet

My wife and I stayed here for a week and the service was awful. We have stayed at a few Hilton hotels and have never encountered such poor and lack luster customer service. To start when we arrived for checkin the process was rushed with no information as to where each of the restaurants were located on the property and we had to ask was a bellman coming to bring the bags to the room. We were just told your in the building to the left on the first floor and given our keys. We attempted to eat at the late night buffet where we smelled and saw burgers being prepared but when we asked for one we were told it was only for room service. When we tried room service the burger wasn’t on the menu. We went to several bars on the property to get soda water and finally sent to the patisserie bar where we were told no. To then inquire at the front desk where a lovely young lady took us right back to the same said patisserie bar and gave us 2 cans. The whole experience just left a really bad taste in our mouths. Definitely would t return.

Prooerty water park and pools were the best thing. The food for buffet was okay just needed more coverings

Enjoyed the stay. The staff was mostly not friendly with a couple of exceptions. There was quite a bit of garbage piling up around the resort. Straws everywhere around the pool area, a lot of dirty dishes and glasses. The pool bar smelled horific and the tables at rhe buffet were very slow to be cleaned and no one taking dirty dishes away. Mostly cleaned up for our selves but most people left there dishes and food and the pigeons enjoyed that. and

Pros: Property was clean Water park, pools and beach were nice Main Buffet food was good enough Cons: Employees working at the bars definitely need some training as most of them seem disgruntled. Impossible to get a reservation at any of the restaurants for dinner. Overall, it’s a nice hotel for families. Kids will definitely enjoy. For adults only, there are better options.

It was wonderful

We had a great time at this resort. We enjoyed both pool and beach. Beach is a bit rocky so you may want to bring water shoes. Night entertainment was fun to watch

Staff very kind

The rooms need updated furniture and to be repainted. They felt very sterile. The dining experience was poor because you couldn’t set up your reservations for the week when we arrived. We had to stand in line every morning to make a reservation. All of the restaurants are not open at the same time so it’s causes a back log!

Las instalaciones del hotel son, en general, agradables y la comida es de buena calidad. Sin embargo, nuestra experiencia se vio afectada por varios inconvenientes. Durante nuestra estancia, pasamos un día completo sin agua en todo el hotel, lo que nos impidió ducharnos adecuadamente. Al día siguiente, aunque el suministro de agua se restableció, no había agua caliente disponible. Además, al tercer día nos encontramos con que no había toallas limpias en las áreas de la piscina y la playa. La atención del personal dejó mucho que desear; su amabilidad y disposición para ayudar fueron extremadamente deficientes. De los seis días que estuvimos, solo pudimos cenar en dos de los restaurantes, ya que estaban completamente reservados, lo que nos obligó a recurrir al buffet para las comidas. Por último, aunque la piscina es visualmente atractiva, el agua se veía turbia y poco limpia, lo que nos hizo dudar en usarla. En resumen, aunque el hotel tiene potencial, la falta de atención al cliente y los problemas de mantenimiento afectaron negativamente nuestra experiencia. En definitiva no volvería a este hotel y posiblemente a Curaçao tampoco, en general los sitios a donde fuimos fuera del hotel había mala atención. No entendemos como una isla que vive de turismo pueden atender tan mal.
