Where to sleep - Hostel

It’s not in the location that it shows in Apple Maps, making finding it difficult when first arriving. Showers smelled like piss like other reviewers commented, when I went out for a run the first morning, I was immediately confronted by a homeless person, trying to open the door and asking to use. And drunk passed out homeless people would sleep on the stairs you walked by. The door stop in the room is also positioned perfectly to stub your toe on. If you’re going to Copenhagen and can afford better, definitely look elsewhere! Don’t cheap out, because it did feel unsafe. Location is convenient for the train and Tivoli gardens!

Bathroom was an issue. Two bathrooms on facility: one is a small box, one is bigger one that is shared between male and female. Room temperature could not be controlled. Two small seperate blankets. Overall okay stay but could have been better.

Had a few issues with the PIN code for entry: I first didn’t receive the email with the PIN code on the checkin day, so had to call them to be able to get in. They said this could be due to a communication problem with Hotels.com. On the day of checkout, I left my capsule at around 7:30am to go to the bathroom, and found that my code didn’t work anymore when trying to go back in… had to call them again to sort it out. Fortunately the issue was always sorted out quickly by phone but I think this problem of PIN codes expiring before checkout should be fixed. Another person had the same problem as me an hour later, and had left his phone in his capsule, so he had to ask for someone’s phone to call them. Apart from that, the capsule was clean, spacious enough for one person, and the experience was very good for the price.

Staff did not send us an entrance code. stranded outside for hours. Never got a response from them. A random civilian helped us. Not very clean. Loud surroundings.

Værelset var fint og rent, men der var lydt og det lå lige op og ned ad trappeopgangen med en meget smækkende dør. Begrænsede toiletfaciliteter på gangen, hvor der kun var koldt vand i vandhanen. Havde overset at det var med delte toiletfaciliteter, så havde andre forventninger til prisen.

Review for a private room with double bed The room was good and the bed was good and comfortable, nothing more to wish. The problem was the toilet facilities that aren't on an acceptable level. There were three toilets all in all. Two of them in cubicles in a common area with sinks outside, the problem with these were that the walls end half a foot above the floor so privacy is limited, to say the least. The other toilet, which is secluded, is so narrow that you can't spread your legs even to take care of the most basic hygien. I've often stayed at hotels with shared toilets, mostly in Britain, but never experienced anything this undignified.

Fantastisk beliggenhed. Mangelfuld rengøring. Toilet og bad på gangen. Kun to badekabiner til 11 værelser, hvoraf den ene var fyldt med blodige håndklæder. Generelt er bad/toiletfaciliteterne uhumske men værelserne okay.

Værelset var fint. Men selvom det er hostel burde der være en voksen til at styre teenagere der larmer til kl 3 om natten og løber fra værelse til værelse. MEGET lydt selvom det var værelse.

Hyggeligt sted og dejligt værelse.

Nothing to complain.

Dirty common areas, too few toilets with no privacy, and thin walls. There’s no security or supervision on premises, so anyone can do whatever as long as they are through the doors. Had a very scary night incident in the corridor when someone banging on the main door was let in. I most definitely don’t recommend staying here — pay a little extra and go to a hotel or ANYWHERE with actual staff around. (Calling the phone number — or the police — is hardly an option when everything can be heard through the walls and there are instable people having a fight in the corridor)

Værelset var møjbeskidt. Det første der mødte os efter at vi kommer ind på værelset er en brugt øreprop som ligger på gulvet. På natbordet ligger der en gennemtygget nikotinpose og under sengen ligger gammelt mademballage. Jeg tvivler på, at spejlet på værelset nogensinde har været rengjort. For ”Where we sleep Hotel” betyder rengjort værelse åbenbart, at sengelinned er skiftet og intet andet. Vi var vidende om at vi havde booket værelse, hvor der skulle deles bad og toilet med andre. MEN 11 værelser deler 2 toiletter og to brusere, det er simpelthen for ulækkert. Vi har før lejet værelser med fælles bad/toilet og mener selv vi er rimelig tolerante, men det her var simpelthen for ulækkert.
