The Resort is a beautiful one. The food was great, The staff were very friendly. I think they should have more staff checking around the resort so you don’t see the plates with leftover food or empty cups around that people leaves in the hallways or on top of trash cans. Kudos to

Dinner is basically from 6pm-8pm, after that, its hot dogs, hamburgers, and movie theater nachos (but heads up, the meat tastes funny). Went to check out and she told us its another $20 charge if we do not bring the pool towels back. This is after my roommate and i went days without getting those towels because they were all out (by 11 am). I went back to the room to grab the towel and the cleaning lady had already thrown it in the hamper. I had to grab it out of a dirty hamper to avoid another charge.
Staff was very kind, music was cool. Definitely a party resort. Do not come for chill vibes or great food.

Food in comparaison with other resorts is probably a 4 out of 10 , Drinks are not premium but for the price i will say its ok. Rooms are comfty big and clean the A/C is a problem it goes and comes. Housekeeping was excellent. The parties and music was great. Shout out to Brianaand Jhan at the sport bar and to Cesar at pool bar.

It is it a good idea to reserve in a package because they give you the worst room available, very far from the beach, plus the electric plugs not functioning at all.
Since it is everything included the staff does not serve you well unless you give them money in every meal

Party hotel. Be prepared to be woken up by drunken people at all hours of the night. The rooms are run down. Had to get switched out from my original room to another room because the main door handle was almost completely detached from the door. Fresh fruit was delicious.

The front desk staff was rude. The TV and Phone did not work in my room. The hot water did not get hot. The room had a-lot of mold. I notified the front desk of all of the issues. Staff just stated they will send “someone right up”. After two days of asking them to fix the problems, I just gave up. Do not waste your time or money at this hotel, If you do you will regret it.

The rooms were not satisfying at all. They are very outdated, the shower heads are rusted. When you run any water in the bathroom, the bathroom floor fills up with water so there is clearly a leak in the pipes. The food was ok. It was the same thing every day. We had hoped to try something different in the restaurants but the menu remained the exact same for the 5 days we stayed there. The sewerage left very bad smells in the hallways and rooms at times and the elevators weren't working properly so we had to carry our heavy suitcases up and down the stairs. The 24 hour sports bar food was disgusting and not fully cooked, poorly managed and unclean. Although the activities and amenities at the resort were fun, I would not recommend this resort to anyone.

the resort is beautiful but outdated. themed parties were fun (pink, jungle, white, and neon parties). i attended the white and jungle party. did not enjoy the food at all. they also barely put any liquor into cocktails. i loved the beach and how they had several pools

I would not recommend this place to no one! They didn’t have water so a full day! The elevator was broke all 4 days! No bath towels! The rooms need to be updated bad! It’s so much but please don’t book this place!

My room was full of mold, when I came in there was a leak, cards kept not working, someone walked in without knocking with a key card… when finally moved, the new room had no running water l, red droplet stains on the sheets and filthy vents. Never will I return.

My stay at Hotel Riu República in Punta Cana was a huge disappointment. The room was a mess—stained sheets, a broken AC that barely worked. It felt unclean and neglected, far from the "luxury" advertised.
The food was equally bad. The buffet had limited variety, with overcooked meats, soggy vegetables, and desserts that tasted stale. I expected vibrant, fresh flavors at an all-inclusive, but it was bland and repetitive.
Worst of all was the customer service. The staff seemed indifferent, often ignoring requests or responding rudely when I asked for help with the room issues. No one followed up on my complaints. It felt like they just didn’t care.
Overall, this hotel didn’t live up to its promises. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, quality vacation.

This resort had an incredible staff that was very friendly. There were plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained, so you would never be bored. The selection of restaurants available was nice, but I wasn’t entirely impressed with my room; it felt quite outdated.
When it came to food, if you weren’t dining at one of the restaurants— which tended to fill up quickly— the other food options weren’t great. I loved that there were several pools to choose from, but unfortunately, the sound system at the main pool wasn’t working properly, causing the music to cut in and out.
I feel that this resort is perfect for young people looking to party who may not prioritize quality food and nice accommodations. It’s a great option for those on a budget.
