Lovely waterfront location to enjoy breakfast. The staff were welcoming and accomodating. You have to take a water taxi to and from the main pier of Santa Cruz which costs $1pp per way. The hotel area is quieter which is nice. Our room (Pelican) had issues when we flushed the toilet and used the tap the room would smell of sewage. There was also a lack of power outlets in the room. Food wise was very mediocre, breakfast was ok and dinner was average. The view is best thing about this hotel.

Breakfast was disappointing. Second cup of coffee will set you back by $3.00. Not worth the money they charge.

To get to the hotel, you need a water taxi that costs a dollar per person each way. If you leave twice a day towards the city, you should consider an additional $4 per person per day. The courtesy of the hotel receptionists is evident and noteworthy. The breakfast is reasonable. There is not much choice, but you will not leave hungry. The room itself is spacious, clean and quiet. Throughout the 5 days there were small ants in the bathroom. I commented on this, but it was not fixed. The hotel is next to an amazing snorkeling site - Las Grietas. If you come at 07:00 you will really enjoy the beauty and quiet. It costs $10 per person for 45 minutes. For us it was worth it and unforgettable. The hotel has a stunning view on the roof. We enjoyed it twice in the evening when it was less hot. We ate at the hotel restaurant once in the evening. It was delicious. The price is a little more expensive than restaurants in the city, but it was worth it. Small sharks come near the hotel and we even saw a large turtle for a few seconds. The hotel's cleaning staff does a very good job. The only problem is that there is no synchronization between your departure to the city and the cleaning of the room. Coordination in this matter could be improved, so that whoever leaves gets priority in cleaning their room. Overall, our stay at the hotel was very pleasant and I highly recommend it.

Hotel muy bien ubicado, con excelente vista al mar y a la fauna del lugar, como rayas, tintoreras, lobo marino, pelícanos. Muy cerca de la playa y atracciones principales de la isla. Se puede realizar snorkeling en el muelle del hotel. Tuvimos un problema con la disponibilidad de agua en la habitación que fue bien solventado. Los desayunos muy buenos con variedad de alimentos a elección. Volveríamos sin dudarlo

MAGIC! Simply Magic! We stayed here 10 years ago and returned to find the Angermeyer as magical as it was back then- even better if you can believe. Staff- welcoming and lovely Accommodations- comfy bed, clean, gorgeous Food- WOW! Location- perfection Don’t hesitate to stay here! Exceptional!

This is how Paradise would be defined Garden of Eden with Darwin’s finches our companion for breakfast and fearless Pelican diving with dinner Panoramic views of the ocean and moonlit windy nights to cherish The staff were thoughtful and paid attention to every detail. They had a deep understanding and connection to Nature knowing what is needed to sustain this paradise The hearty fish stew and fresh mango juice I can still taste Mark’s memory will forever be etched with savoring the gingery Mojito every evening.

Beautiful jumping off point for daily activities. Comfortable rooms, great location on the water, friendly staff, good food and drink. Would stay again upon returning. Highly recommend.

Nice waterfront hotel with staff that goes above and beyond. The staff is super friendly and helpful. It was convenient walking to a beach and Las Grietas. Be aware that to visit the mainland where all shopping and additional restaurants are, you need to pay water taxi 1$ each way .

This place was insanely nice. It must be the nicest accommodation near Santa Cruz. The people who work here are so kind and helpful. I loved talking to Rebecca. Right in front of the hotel there are lights that attract sharks, rays, sea lions, and fish, so you can sit at the restaurant with a drink or meal and watch wildlife right in front of you without leaving the hotel! The only meal I had here was breakfast, but it was lovely. The oceanview room was beautiful. You have to take a $1 water taxi to come and go from the hotel. The taxi ride to town is only a few minutes. It was super easy, and the longest wait we had was a couple minutes for the taxi to show up. The only thing I wish I knew is that it's hard to get small bills for the taxi. I would recommend bringing lots of ones with you so you don't have to ask the hotel to break larger bills every day. I would absolutely come back here!
