We had an unforgettable experience thanks to the amazing team that made our trip to Egypt truly special! The Pyramid Front Hotel was a perfect stay — clean, comfortable, and in an unbeatable location with a breathtaking view of the pyramids. The staff were warm and attentive, making us feel at home from day one. A special thank you to Hassan, who is not only a phenomenal masseur but also a kind soul with healing hands and a wealth of knowledge. His energy and professionalism added so much to our experience. Our time in Alexandria was brought to life by the incredible Professor Hassan, our tour lead, whose storytelling, humor, and depth of historical knowledge were second to none. We learned so much and had such fun doing it. We’re also incredibly grateful to Mohamed and Lamiah, the masterminds behind our itinerary. They seamlessly coordinated our multiple tours with care and efficiency. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, and their passion for sharing the beauty of Egypt was felt throughout.

An Unforgettable Stay with an Unbeatable View. We spent 7 nights at this hotel, and overall, our stay was excellent. The highlight was undoubtedly the breathtaking view of the Pyramids—so close it felt surreal. Sitting at the rooftop restaurant, enjoying a delicious meal while gazing at one of the world's wonders, was a moment we won’t forget. The rooftop restaurant was very nice, open until 2 am, which made for some lovely late-night dinners. The food throughout our stay was great, and breakfast (included in our rate) always had something for everyone, no matter your taste. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Housekeeping was top-notch—the room was spotless every time we asked, and the overall cleanliness of the hotel was perfect. However, there were two downsides. Our room, with a Pyramids view, also faced the main road, and the traffic noise at night was almost unbearable. We really think the hotel should consider installing better soundproof windows on that side. The second issue was a bit more personal and uncomfortable. While we’re used to tipping generously for good service, one male staff member at reception asked us directly for money “to support his son’s education.” We believe in tipping for service, but being asked for money during a casual conversation felt inappropriate and a little overwhelming, especially in a professional setting.Despite these issues, the overall experience was memorable, and the proximity to the Pyramids made it truly special.

Positive:The staff at this property were very polite and professional. Hassan the gentleman that worked at the pool area was a great person, always polite and helpful. The waiters that serviced dinner at night were very professional and great. Negative: The food at this Hotel was Poor. You ordered Pizza, and you received bread and cheese that was not baked thoroughly. Pasta was never done right. We started taking Uber and eating outside at other places because food was not that good. Positive: The view of the Pyramids from the rooftop of the Hotel was A+ amazing. Negative: The area where the hotel is located is run down, with main road in front of it, car washes, construction sites and run down buildings. Positive: Hotel is located very close, to main historic sites, 7 minutes drive, to the Giza Plateau and Grand Egyptian Museum.

This was a good option for our stay in Cairo, as it was a spacious room and the staff was helpful in making touring arrangements. The hotel is old, but has been updated in some ways to make it more comfortable. The clear/see-through concept walls for the bathrooms was a bit strange but there were roll-down shades that made it workable.

This hotel was an absolute disappointment. The cleanliness is severely lacking—hallways, elevator shafts, and stairwells were all filthy. The management clearly needs to invest time and effort into basic upkeep. At best, this is a 2-star property. Customer service was equally poor, with staff appearing indifferent and rarely cracking a smile. Housekeeping never showed up during our stay, and even when we requested essentials like towels or toilet paper, it took two calls and a 3-4 hour wait to get them. The breakfast was dismal and unappetizing. There was little to no selection, and the setup was unhygienic, with saran wrap being reused for guests to access food—potentially contaminating it each time. We ended up skipping breakfast entirely after the first day. Additionally, the water temperature in the shower was inconsistent, alternating between scalding hot and freezing cold. The Wi-Fi was unreliable and required re-logging in every few hours. The entire property had an inexplicable and unpleasant odor that lingered throughout our stay. Do yourself a favor and spend a bit more to stay at a reputable chain hotel. This place is simply not worth it—be prepared to feel grossed out if you choose to stay here.

Pros: - The pyramids view is exceptional - From the rooftop restaurant, you can view the light show in the evening and we even caught a fireworks show - The breakfast is decent with some traditional Egyptian options as well as an assortment of breads, cereals, scrambled eggs etc. 2 out of the 3 days there was an omelette station as well - The room size is decent - Super close to the pyramids and the Grand Museum - The restaurant manager Tauba will make your stay worth it. He will do the most possible to cater to your needs. - Some other bellboys and workers are also very humble and ready to help - I requested a hairdryer during booking and was provided one throughout the stay Cons: - An hour drive from the airport - Neighborhood is very busy and not the most shiniest - Checkin and Checkout process is slow - No conditioner provided - Some stains visible on the sheets To each his own. You get what you pay for. If you can deal with the cons, it is worth staying!

We stayed at the Pyramid front hotel for 3 nights.
