Everything was super, the staff, the facilities, its location. Only thing for us, as non bingo players, is that the entertainment started much too late. Other than that, I now must start my diet as the food was excellent.

Did find dust on ledges, shower room had some black mould and missing paint, door to shower room not full size could easily hit your head or trip down step. Only one hand towel and bath towel for two people was not ideal. Would not want same room again, room on first floor very noisy could hear entertainment all night, not great if you want an early night. For a last minute booking it was okay

Prompt check in, TV reception not the best, but that could have been the location of the room.
Food amazing and plentiful especially on a dinner ,B+B basis. Huge choice.
Good leisure facilities, pool, sauna and jacuzzi although wasnt working but still hot. Jet free. Leisure staff very friendly
Tram stop outside of hotel. Limited parking available in hotel ground but if early enough you could get parked in the street next to hotel.

This was my third time in here for a long weekend We were in room 117 and the toilet facilities were clean but very limited for space to the point we found it almost unusable.simply not suitable for two adults

Booked for 4 nights, Room 318 not the best, bathroom very small, guttering above window blocked so very noisy at night and rain pouring through the old sash window down the wall onto the carpet. We stayed H/B
Food and service was excellent but unfortunately we left 1 day early due to no sleep from the rain

When we arrived we knew it was 4 pm before the room was ready, this in our opinion is very late in the day , seems to be getting later and later. Our room wasn’t suitable for my elderly father with the toilet being squeezed in right next to the bath, I asked about moving room at reception and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating.
Food in the hotel was superb as always and good entertainment on over the weekend
Unfortunately the beds weren’t very comfortable, way too soft for me personally which meant little sleep as it gave me backache but my dad managed
On our second night my dad was extremely unwell which later passed to me and subsequently other family members on our return home, the dreaded norovirus, so certainly an unforgettable weekend in Blackpool for sure .

Overall the hotel is lovely, with friendly helpful staff. There is a good selection of food and it is well presented and tastes amazing. The hotel is let down a bit by it's cleanliness. The carpets throughout could do wjth a good clean. The pool in the basement is a nice size. The rooms are a bit compact, which is not an issue if you are out and about. The shower had a steep step to get in, which meant I had to keep helping my wife down from the shower. The towels are not bath size towels. I would happily stay there again though and take my own bath towels.

The food was really good, the best thing about the hotel really. Hotel needs a refurb as pretty dated. Also cleanliness could be better. Rooms should be made up every day with fresh towels if required.

Not really suitable as a hotel for a business trip, this is very much a holiday hotel with several coach trips in residence.
For a holiday I am sure the hotel is fine, however the fact it was a fixed menu in the restaurant and then the breakfast was only available after 8:30am makes it not suitable for a business trip.
