I cancelled due to having major surgery. The hotel clearly did care about it. I am organising a large family break for wedding 20 rooms and guess which hotel I will not be considering. The hotel systems did not even reflect my cancellation as I got a call late that evening regarding my check in.

Bathroom door didn’t close room door struggled to open and shut it Want a lot of spending on the hotel very disappointed

The hotel was really lovely, the decoration and upkeep of different areas were a very high standard although a little dated. Just co Upon arrival we chose a table in the restaurant which was ours for the weekend. there was a massive amount of food for starters and deserts which were in a help yourself buffet style, after starters a waitress took the order for the mains which was a bit limited compared to the buffet array with only 3 to choose from, 1 being vegetarian. We booked a sea view, this was a let down, the room was large with a bay window with 3 panes of double glazing glass, 1 was totally broken and filled with dirt and condensation, another was broken all the way up 1 side and halfway across, the 3rd was ok but starting to fail. We did speak to the Manager who offered us a new room but we declined as we were only staying for 2 nights and we had arrived in the middle of Storm Amy so there wasn’t much to view anyway with the torrential rain and wind. We also had to keep the plugs in on the bath and sink as drain smells were coming up. The biggest disappointment was when I asked to speak to the Manager the receptionist asked why, she then turned to go into a room behind the desk but failed to go in far enough before I saw her nasty mimicking face mocking me. Every other member of staff was polite, friendly and very helpful No Saturday housekeeping so we had to make our own bed. We would stay here again but not in room 235 unless the windows were fixed.

Best hotel in Blackpool. Has everything we needed. Great food, hot tub, gym, friendly staff.

Lovely stay

Swimming pool was good. Bedroom was very small and the bathroom was tiny, you couldn't hardly turn around. I will not go there again.

Nice location. Food good. Allocated table in the dining room for the whole of your stay. Quick check-in. Powerful shower. Tram stop directly opposite the hotel. Parking difficult, especially when hotel busy.

Where do I start with the review? Well the first thing I would like to say is I honestly think it’s one of the best breaks me and my wife have had, there we’re obviously some points that I have to comment about that we’re needing a bit of work and renovation to be done but if you asked me to look beyond that then it’s a solid 10/10 The staff were lovely in every way the reception was fantastic made it so easy as possible as we had to move room as the toilet was unusable for my needs and I couldn’t use the toilet at all but as I said the staff made it so easy to move! So from that point after we sat down to an amazing dinner I would love the chefs and staff in the restaurant for the amazing food from breakfast to dinner, we loved the fact that we had our table for our entire stay at the hotel. The room we ended up in was good enough unfortunately we had to take a double bed apart from the two single beds that we really needed but hey ho we can’t complain, the room could definitely do with a slight spruce up but honestly we understand it’s not always possible for it in the current climate, we enjoyed the experience of most of the entertainment patron one of the nights with the comedian who we found to be a bit close to the bone especially with children being there, some of the material was a just a bit well I won’t go into that I think you maybe have had some comments about before? basically all in we were so happy with the stay and look forward to our return mr and Mrs H
