Amazing staff

the beds were very comfortable and clean but the family room was so small that even though it came with an extra cot...I don't know where you could set it to use. the bathroom was extremely small with only a couple square feet of floor space. the fridge was good to have but didn't keep milk cold.

Tiny, not clean, there was mold in the skylight (if it had rained, we would have been soaked). Shower wasnt consistent; hot then scolding then freezing. No elevator. Occupancy standards are very low.

Good and quiet place close to the center. Room was big enough to fit a full size bed. No microwave. There was a water kettle tho. Perfect if you travel solo or with 1 person, no more. Hot shower was very good. Restroom door lock was broken, as well as a night stand lamp. Didn't have WiFi for the first two days. After that it was on and off. Place is good to shower and sleep. I spent most of the time sightseeing. If you are planing on booking a room to relax and stay there for hours I would look at something bigger.

The Room was very short. The best was vert bad. To go to the bathroom, the step was toi Hugh, note the 12 niches.

Room had a bit of a weird smell that we were not able to localize. We left the window open during our entire stay, which didn't help much. Shower had hot water, just at very low pressure. Both adults felt the beds were too firm, however, the kids did not complain. Nice touch with a fridge in the room and usb charging ports on the power outlet. Our experience confirmed that you stay here for the location, not for the standard of the facilities.

Clean and reasonably comfortable, the windows need some attention, was quite a draft through the one window as it was in poor state. Close to Victoria station which was handy and in terms of value for money it was good.

The room was filthy (old food on table, stains on curtains) and the walls and ceiling were paper thin. I didn’t get more than a couple of hours of sleep each night. The staff and location were great.

Great location But Poor quality hotel. Ceiling Light didn’t work, Microwave smokes, mold in bathroom, shower drains very slow, VERY SMALL space, bathroom very small, only cold water, internet very spotty, Beds were horrible, pay a little more, for better quality! Staff was nice and they did replace the microwave.

This was exactly what I expected. Was it a 5 star hotel..NO. Was it a clean bed, with a bathroom (could have been better but it was passable) and a shower close to where I wanted to be..YES. Did I have to walk up 4 flights of narrow stairs to get to my room. YES. Was the bathroom way too small for my large American body.. Yes unfortunately. Does any of this diminish this property absolutely NOT. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. If you want 5 star luxury look elsewhere. If you are looking for an affordable room with passable beds and a bathroom this is a good place to consider.

Super convenient location. Everything nearby, safe and quiet road. Staff were friendly. Property itself is bit old, but cleanliness was fine. Only drainage at bathroom was terrible, water didn't go down and almost flood, even I didn't run many water. Water pressure was low.

Close to town and railway station. Walking distance to many areas. Easy to get to any airport. Nice little clean place.

Pretty clean, staff was really friendly. Never had to wait for the shared bathroom. Location excellent. Room was just very cold. Overall good for a solo traveller, who’s just looking for a place to sleep.

I recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a very good experience, especially for the price. The location is fantastic and, at first glance, the building looks grand and impressive. Just to set expectations—it’s not the Ritz, but it doesn’t pretend to be. The hotel is definitely dated in places, but everything was spotlessly clean, which mattered more to me. My single room was pristine: fresh bedding, clean floors, and a comfortable bed. There was a kettle with tea and coffee, a TV (slightly wonky on the wall but working), and a heater mounted high up. The corner sink didn’t have hot water, and the laminate floor showed signs of wear—likely from water splashes over time—but again, it was all very clean. The wooden window frame could do with a fresh coat of paint, and the blind was a bit tired, but nothing that affected my stay. I used the hotel as a base, and for that purpose it was ideal. The reception staff were polite and friendly, which made a big difference. For anyone travelling on a budget, this place is genuinely good value for money. I’d happily stay again.
