The property was in a nice neighborhood. Our room was in the basement which was poorly ventilated. The laminate floor was water damaged and breaking apart. The bathroom was dirty and the shower didn’t work properly. We notified the front desk on Friday, but it was never fixed through our stay the following Thursday. We were asked to use the common bathroom two floors up. There was no linen service for the week. Because of the poor ventilation, no air conditioning, or screen on the window, there was no real way to cool or dehumidify the room. Leaving the window completely open to bugs or other was not an option. It was difficult because of the heat wave and general lack of comfort s, which we do realize is a regional norm.

Honestly rooms were not that clean, the bathroom was quite dirty and there was even soap residue from past guests. Some staff tired to help but nothing was ever done after telling them the issues. We were there for 3 nights and our room didn’t get cleaned once, definitely saw a couple of the other rooms get cleaned but not ours. The location is good and close enough to the tube.

The location was fantastic , walking distance to lots of great spots including Buckingham Palace, Green Park, underground stations and many places to eat. The bathroom was tiny and we had a problem with the shower not draining which unfortunately was not fixed. It was very hot and no air conditioning… granted we were there during a heat wave and I’m sure many experienced the same thing. As a place to just rest your head it was great for the price .

The "Classic Double Room" is NOT like on the photos on Expedia, we didn't have a fridge or a microwave (we were told only family rooms have them, but on the photos at the time of our booking our double room also had these anemities). There is a common fridge and microwave at the reception, but that is not as convenient. Also, we got only one keycard for the room, which is a strange inconvenience - these keycards are cheap and easy to code and usually at hotels we get one for each of us (we don't spend all the time together and it's easier to have one keycard each). Otherwise the hotel was very nice, well located, there was always someone at the reception and we liked staying there.

Unsanitary, unclean, unhealthy, uncooperative staff. No air conditioner. Had to leave and get hotel across the street, and no refund for a prepaid week. It was so bad we chose to pay for 3 rooms for our family at another hotel for 4 nights just to not get sick from the mold.

Pros: great location. 5 min from Victoria station where the train, subway and coach terminals. Price is very reasonable. Staffs are friendly and helpful such as providing us a fan they were using or unplugging a clogged shower drain. Cons: No air conditioning. I forgot if it was specified in the description. I assume all hotels have a/c. The room was steaming in the 35c weather facing the sun 14 hours a day with one window locked to open 6” max. The fan was on 24 hr with not much help. There is no fridge in the room. Only 1 small bar fridge in the office (no lobby) where you can keep your cold drinks. There is no chair in the room, just the bed and a night table.

Where to begin… upon checking in the receptionist was rude and continued texting before attending to me. No elevator was problematic with large suitcases. No air conditioning was an issue especially because you couldn’t open the window more than 2 inches. The shower had NO hot water and the tv didn’t work properly (constant static). My hayfever has never been worse due to the dust build up and uncleanliness of the room. Sheets were unclean, almost bed bug looking?? My sister referred to it as a jail cell, would not recommend

We had no idea it was like a hostile. The bathrooms were as small as a closet you had to sit sideways on the toilet so you could shut the door and we were on a 4 flight up stairways with no lift. There was absolutely no amenities whatsoever should’ve been said it was more like a hostile. The rooms were barely big enough for a twin bed. You couldn’t move. You had nowhere to store anything won’t go there again.

Had a fridge and microwave. No hot water from bathroom sink, the hot water from shower came from using the cold setting. Otherwise a good bathroom. 10.30am checkout. The place was clean. The location is great, close to Victoria station and 5 minutes walk to a Sainsbury's.

It was okay to stay for a couple of days although there is room for improvement. It is a bit old and not very aesthetically pleasing. I booked a room for myself and it was a very small room. Be aware that the wifi is not reliable at all, especially at night when a lot of people are using it at the same time. I had to use my own data most of the time I was there which was an inconvenience. I also found that my room which was meant to have a separate private bathroom was in fact NOT private at all. I awkwardly bumped into the receptionist using the bathroom. It had clearly written on the door “Only for the room of X”. However it is in a good location and there are some nice cafes close by, as well as the train station.
