Lovely hotel with a great view. We had a corner suite and the welcome gin was appreciated, shame only the tonic was replaced on day 2. Room service was delicious. Be warned it is £10 per person per day to use the spa if you haven't booked direct - this is hidden away on the hotel description (unlike other charges which were easy to see up front!)

Clean and well decorated room with good coffee making facilities. Super comfy bed with good pillows! The gym was small but was equipped enough for a good workout.

Five stars on all fronts, just be mindful when getting beach facing rooms on the weekends, a tad noisy, not for the mature crowd.

This was a short stay for my husband’s 50th Birthday celebration. Sadly on arrival we found an issue with our allocated room, we was asked to wait for an alternative to be made available, although we were moved to another we felt the new room had been rushed in its readiness as there was items missing, the bed wasn’t made to the same standard as the first room and being told this room was an upgrade the bathroom was definitely a lot smaller and there was less storage space. Something we should have been notified of on arrival was that the fire alarm was to be tested on Monday morning, not the wake up call we were expecting! We used the spa facilities, although very pleasant, the welcome on arrival felt almost like we was interrupting the receptions conversation. Something to be aware of, although it states the hotel has a spa, we were not expecting an additional fee as this is not on the website information. Overall the hotel was pleasant but with some tiered areas.

Lovely hotel in a very convenient location. Complimentary G&T in the room was a very nice touch! Breakfast was good but service was extremely slow. Had to wait a good 30 mins for tea and coffee to arrive and about an hour for our cooked breakfast. It wasn’t busy.

Stayed at Harbour Hotel Brighton for my partner’s 30th birthday and honestly left disappointed. We arranged for a bottle of champagne and strawberries to be waiting in the room on arrival. Instead, we were delivered a warm bottle of Prosecco and told the champagne would arrive the next day. Despite mentioning it multiple times throughout the stay, it never appeared. The biggest issue though was the condition of the rooms. The first room was dirty, tired, and poorly maintained. Stains throughout the carpets, marks on furniture, rusty shower fittings, dirty skirting boards, grimy areas around the bathroom, and general lack of upkeep. We were moved to another room, but even that had stains all over the carpet and still felt worn out and neglected. To make matters worse, we received no housekeeping service until we specifically asked for it. The spa experience was mixed. My partner’s facial was apparently lovely, and the staff themselves were polite whenever we spoke to them, but the spa area also looked tired and poorly maintained. I also came out in a rash after using the hot tub, which made me question whether the chemical balance was being properly monitored. Despite booking a £100 treatment, there was still an extra £10 charge just to use the spa facilities, which felt a bit cheap for a hotel positioning itself as four-star luxury. This doesn’t seem like bad luck either — after looking through Google reviews, there are plenty of photos showing very similar room conditions.

For the price you pay it’s not up to standard. You are better off going to the travel lodge over the road. Only good thing about the stay was breakfast and where the hotel is. Other than that, I wouldn’t stay here again. Had to be moved rooms due to the filth that was in the room. If you’re staying on the first floor all you can hear is people above. Cleaners and manager need a talking too. The head board was thick with dust and there’s only one thing splattered on that head board, it’s disgusting. I’ll be contacting head office. Not acceptable.

Average stay, and at £400 for 2 nights it was disappointing! I was surprised at earplugs being provided, but hearing a club(?) behind the hotel empty their glass bins at 1, 2, 3 and 4am both nights it became obvious why! Room was tiny and mattress dreadfully lumpy, but bathroom was pleasant and clean. Receptionist at check in was nice but wasn’t asked if I would like to include breakfast or use the amenities. When I checked out I left a bag, and when I came back to collect them I was shown into a room and told to “find mine” which felt very insecure, no verification of who I was at all! Overall, better choices in Brighton for the price point.

Basic room for the price A bit of a maze to find your room Great location but thats all it has going for it. In contrast to the harbour hotel in richmond this is nowhere near that standard. But disappointing. Also at 3am we awoke to the banging and clashing of trash from a local bar that went on for ages. Terrible stay in honest. Will stay at another hotel the next time we go. They also do let you know until youre there, that there is a £10pp charge to use the facilites per day. I wish I'd have known that before.

Hotel is clean and tidy, with lovely staff. The spa itself was a huge bonus at a hotel, the only downside I have is that there are a good few steps in this hotel, some quite tricky steps down to the lower level spa, but it was lovely clean and very relaxing. Can get quite busy.
