Harbour Hotel Southampton

Extremely pleasant base for the boat show. Lovely ambience and views, especially the 6th floor. Attentive staff, good food and fast service. Would definitely return to this hotel.

Enjoyed our 1 night stay.

Hotel was lovely and comfortable. Have stayed here a number of times. Restaurant has gone downhill food options not as great. If returned won’t stay for dinner seems to be other great options around the harbour.

Hotel and room were both clean and tidy. Had exceptional service from restaurant staff during breakfast. We were served by a very affable and helpful older gentleman (he had a dog but his name escapes me …). All staff from front desk to breakfast were especially helpful.

Excellent hotel n staff was very service oriented. Gr8 view from our room. Will stay here again.

Great location overlooking the marina

Beautiful property. Very clean and modern rooms. Many things to see in Southhampton. The staff was very helpful with information of how to get to London and get around. I would highly recommend staying here great value and close to London by train for more sightseeing

The property is immaculate, the room was so fresh and new feeling and incredibly clean. It felt very high end. There a few bars very close by and also a convenience store which was welcomed for snacks and water for the room (although a small bottle was provided) The only small gripes we had were when making a table booking for the Harbar. The system does give a description of the different areas Harbar you can book. So, upon arrival we were told we’d booked the ‘lounge’ which was a high top table in the bar (or a very low table not suitable for eating at). If a description of each area to book had been present we would have selected the ‘restaurant (which at the time we thought might be too formal for our needs when we only wanted a light bite). I did put a note on our booking to advise of our requirements but when mentioned they looked at me blankly. The other issue was the parking and specifically charging points for electric vehicles. These spaces nr charging points are not close to the hotel (where you would expect) they are a 5 minute walk away in a multi-storey car park. Finally, for the price we paid, I would have liked to have seen at least a continental breakfast included

Overnight before cruise , I don’t know it this was an office block before but no dampeners on the room doors so slam.. slam.. slam and the sound of waste water from above in the ceiling constantly it didn’t seem purpose built …. Beds good .. food in jetty resturant very good .. staff very hit and miss understaffed like most UK hotels

Lovely stay as usual but check in girl miserable and not helpful!

As regular guests of this hotel, it is the staff that make the visit so special - each stay really does feel personalised and the team really do understand how to maximise their guests comfort.

Terrible check in. This definitely not a 5 star hotel At best 3 star.

Front desk was amazing

Excellent hotel with sea view, we enjoyed the spa facilities and my 10 year old enjoyed swimming everyday in the pool and watching movies in the cinema room.

Good spot

I had booked the hotel on line and so did not really know what to expect. It is an excellent hotel but was somewhat disappointed that the crisps, nuts and bar of chocolate was an extra cost. Only discovered after consuming but it was not so much the cost but thought that this would be inclusive of the rooms cost which is not cheap. I was not happy that there was lack of communication between the check out and those that provide the room service. I was given somebody else’s bill for items consumed and it was only when questioning that it was identified. I did still pay for the crisps, nuts and chocolate though! A nice hotel and highly recommended but look out for the extras to which they allocate £50 in advance
