南安普敦海逸酒店

The location is not good, far away from the city center. The room is not very clean. The staff will not let you feel welcome. The car park is not on site the hotel, need to walk to the public car parking , walk 5-7 mins. I will not stay at this hotel again.

Great location

Excellent property and service.

We had booked two overnight stays at the start and end of a cruise. While on bith occasions we arrived at the hotel well ahead of normal check-in time, we only had to wait a short time until our room was available. This was very good as it was tiring after a long journey. The hotel is convenient for cruising from Southampton as it is only a short distance to the ferry terminal, but the hotel provided a complimentary transfer on the embarkation day. However, it at £229 for an overnight stay it is not cheap with breakfast additional. WE didn't have dinner at the hotel, so can't comment, but did have drinks in the bar on our second stay. Not cheap there either, but staff helpful and friendly.

Chose the mini suite with kitchen, not really intending to use the kitchen but just wanted to warm some milk before bed. BUT no the kitchens are non functioning the hob and ovens are disabled for customers SAFETY !!!! As an OAP clearly I am not experienced enough to use a hob or oven. Why sell a room with a kitchen and add a premium to the price and then disable all the appliances? There is a desk - NO plug sockets anywhere nearby, no usb points anywhere in the room. Only plug socket not in the kitchen is covered by the sliding door to the bathroom! Good luck if you need plug in a hair dryer or straighteners. The complimentary gin in the room will barely make one drink certainly not two. Room was clean and looked good but badly designed for any practical purposes. If you need to call the hotel for any reservations ignore all the options on the phone system as they will will be permently engaged or just not answered at all. Opt for reception as they are the only ones that will answer.

Deluxe king room felt spacious. The bed was very comfortable and room amenities good. All staff were very friendly and helpful.

Fabulous stay and food

Alicia (the blonde haired lady on reception - hoping i’ve remembered your name correctly!) was absolutely incredible with looking after us. The food was delicious with a very generous breakfast spread, the spa was clean and tidy. The room was so comfortable and tidy, lovely bed!! only a few things which we feel could improve; the coffee, tea and biscuits were not restocked every day so we often had to call to ask. Flannels and a toilet roll were not always resupplied so we needed to call for those too. Kids were very loud and splashing in the pool so the spa wasn’t always the most relaxing. However, we are so thankful for our stay and we will be back!! Thank you Alicia for making it so special, we hope to see you again on our next visit! 5 stars to Alicia (so sorry if my spelling is wrong!) but please do pass on my praise.

Nice clean spacious room

Room was lovely. Bed very comfortable and a pleasant view. The main reason for the stay was to celebrate my wife’s birthday with the highly rated spa, located on site. We started with a couples massage which was lovely, very relaxing. Unfortunately, it was downhill from there. The spa is very small and, due to the amount of people using it, there was nothing available. The pool side beds were all occupied, both the sauna and steam room were full as well, meaning our experience was curtailed very quickly. Following our overnight stay, we went for our Rasool experience in the morning. Even though it was pre booked, nothing was ready for us and we had to go and ask for someone to set it up. This was eventually done but the experience itself was poor. There was little heat and the mud used was poor. When we came out to use the spa again, we had the same issue. All the beds were used and the relaxation room was full. In the end, we just left it. Room lovely. Spa very poor.
