The location is not good, far away from the city center. The room is not very clean. The staff will not let you feel welcome. The car park is not on site the hotel, need to walk to the public car parking , walk 5-7 mins. I will not stay at this hotel again.

We did not like their attitude- I enjoy booking with Expedia for the convenience and efficiency, but seemed like booking with third party was a negative ! The hotel is on harbour- but we got the worst room - facing windows of another building. Our flight arrived early - check in is 3:00 pm - understandable that we have to wait - but absolutely no courtesy of even a few minutes earlier. We were there for one night only, getting on a cruise ship next day. Checkout was at 11:00 next morning, literally rushed us out. Something was just not right-

My room was remarkable with a beautiful view of the area from my balcony. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great hotel, only let down was not being able to access the harbar as there was a private function, which was a shame given our main reason for booking was to eat at the harbar

Nice welcome car park not signposted and therefore we ended up in multi storesy, lovely welcome at reception clean room but harbar not great rushed loud not great food and we went downstairs to downstairs bar for a drink to be told ‘we are not doing food’ and all we wanted was a drink very rude girl bar staff

Air con didn’t work which was disappointing. Spa and pool is too small for the amount of guests but rooms are clean and feel luxurious.

The staff was very accommodating. The room was very clean.

We really enjoyed our stay but it was slightly spoilt when we went to the Harbar in the evening to have a cocktail. We arrived at the bar which was very busy as there was a disco taking place. The bar staff were excellent and very busy but it was spoilt by the behaviour of some of the party goers at the bar. Some were swearing and being abusive to the bar staff when they refused to serve them. We sat outside on the decking to have our drink but it was still very loud with several people who had clearly had too much to drink. We are not against young people enjoying themselves but we felt that it affected our experience and we actually only stayed for one drink and went back to our room. We felt that your hotel is of a high standard and guests pay a premium to stay there rather than at other hotels in Southampton, but we did not feel that the experience on Saturday night was a reflection of the standard we would have expected. Please do not think that we are criticising the staff in any way, they were all very polite and helpful as always.
