Holiday Inn Express BRISTOL - FILTON, an IHG Hotel

It was amazing we was given a voucher for a free drink and snack, was given a ground floor room due to my mobility it was appreciated. Great customer service great choice of breakfast x thankyou to all the staff for their professional work

Reception staff repeatedly canceled our room key - meaning repeatedly we couldn’t get into the room and had to go back downstairs to reception. Reason given was they had our room as empty, despite us being in there for 4 days and that was where they booked us in. And they didn’t seem to fix mistake as it happened repeatedly Also - heating didn’t work. No attempt to fix. They gave us a heater to plug in that had faulty feet meaning it was unstable and probably hazard. When checking out - stood at reception for a while, no sign of any staff - so had to just leave

We felt the hotel was in need of some refurbishment, a bit tired.

Perfectly pleasant, good for Abbey Wood. Friendly staff and comfortable, functional room. Not a budget price though and whilst I know this is a personal thing I judge anywhere that uses powdered eggs at breakfast, which was reasonable but average.

I stayed here for 2 nights with my partner. The first room we had , had no heating other than a portable radiator as the heating unit didnt work, we also had very noisy neibours( not the propweries fault) they moved us as soon as we requested. . There was no beer on tap in the bar , however there is a pub that shares the car park.

The room was immaculately clean and the staff were incredibly friendly Very happy to come again

I had a very pleasant and comfortable stay. The service has significantly improved since my previous stay. I dealt with a young man called TJ on reception/bar and he was very courteous and attentive. Big improvement in service!

Front desk staff very helpful on booking in and getting a local taxi booked. Room was clean and had alll the basic facilities - tea and coffee point, TV, ensuite. One thing I'd add is a security chain on the door. A good safety feature. Main downpoint was being woken at 4.15am by next door room playing very loud music. With no sign of it stopping I had to go and ask them to turn it down.

We enjoyed our short stay as a family. Clean comfy room, friendly staff and great breakfast.

I have stayed here several times and would have normally given it a 4 star rating. The reason for dropping down to 2 stars for this visit is that the 'hot' food for breakfast was cold for the two days we were here. I do not mean 'cool', I mean completely stone cold; cold bacon and cold scrambled eggs. I did not try anything else. On telling a member of staff they just said that they would inform the manager.

There is no sockets for chargers next to the bed, and the only usb slot is broken. Shower water pressure not the best. Breakfast very basic. No mushrooms.
