It was good overnight stay in December.room was cold took a while to heat up but once heated up it was good, breakfast in the morning was very good best breakfast iv had in a while

This hotel is used to accommodate assylum seekers as well as homeless people. It has got a contract with the governement.
The hotel has one corridor that they use for paying guests, and the rest of the hotel is on a government contract.
This is not mentionned when booking the hotel.
The receptionist was ever so helpeful.

Hotel was ok, but quite a few homeless families staying there, which made me feel a little uncomfortable and out of place . Had I been aware of this, I would not have booked.

The staff were excellent, very helpful and attentive.
Unfortunately the hotel is being used as an overflow for council houses, up until 11:15, until I complained to the management, kids and parents were making lots of noise and slamming doors all over the hotel. Mean I couldn’t get to sleep until after midnight by the time the commotion has subsided.

Toby’s carvery is just next door with excellently dining options. A bit far from city centre. But I assume you will have a car if staying here. Price is very reasonable.

Despite telling the hotel 2 weeks before arrival that we would be bringing our dog, we were given a room on the upper floor a long way from the stairs. Ate at the Toby Carvery next door. Big mistake, only the carvery was on offer and all the food was only lukewarm.
