Nice hotel with clean and quiet room.

Nice & spacious rooms. Bathroom nice & clean. Location of hotel is perfect for the train station & close to a variety of food/drink outlets. We were staying for a gig & it was a short walk to the venue. Ideal!

The room was very clean and had a comfortable bed but lacked amenities. There was an electric kettle but only one teabag in my double room. The location is great if you want to be close to the train station but the bar/restaurant was nothing special. The staff was mediocre at best and did not seem too helpful or accommodating.

Nice and simple hotel a little out of the town centre but near the station. Nice staff and good breakfast buffet. Basic rooms but serve their purpose and I like the neighbourhood. Would stay again

Hotel is in a great and convenient spot with easy access to the train station and the city centre.

AC unit in the room was very noisy, other than that the hotel is very nice and comfortable

I stayed here for convenience for work but it wasn’t particularly clean, the rooms needed updating and the room didn’t even have a bin! Every time the person in the room above went to the toilet I could hear absolutely everything. It was expensive for what it was and I wouldn’t stay here again.

The superior room we stayed in for one night was perfectly acceptable- spotlessly clean- a nice powerful shower and a really comfortable bed. A decent TV as well. However, the breakfast was a let-down. Firstly, the buffet trays were slow to be replenished and the food itself was extremely average. The scrambled egg was rubbery (no other variation of egg) tastless mushrooms, and the bacon was woefully undercooked. Sausages and hash browns were ok. There was a sign saying if you want vegetarian/vegan sausages you had to ask for them! My partner asked for veggie sausages - when they arrived they looked like burnt offerings and seemed to be mainly constructed from potato! Not nice at all! So room nice, breakfast not so much.

Staff were helpful and OK with me checking out at 2am for a flight. Great location, a short walk to the railway station. Room was clean, bed was firm and pillows were OK. Bathroom was smaller than expected and it was quite cramped. But a great place to stay for one night.

What a pleasant experience, that I was not expecting from a budget hotel chain. I wanted a stop over and found the hotel to be excellent value, clean, comfortable and just what I needed for a very affordable price. The room was adequate for my needs, basic but still very well structured with coffee/tea amenities, small shower area and a comfortable bed. The breakfast was very good, with several options available, a good coffee choice. Can't complain for £70 mid week, well done Ibis and its pleasant employees.

The service was excellent, no issues with the staff. But the quality of the rooms are poor and uncomfortable. Plastic floor, a bathroom like something you would find at a swimming baths, hard pillows, cheap mattress, incredibly hot rooms with air conditioning that barely works and no way of fully opening the window. It just feels the cheapest of the cheap and I'm surprised it's considered a 3 star hotel. It feels more 2 star. I understand it's a budget hotel but I feel I could've got more for my money elsewhere.

The staff were lovely, efficient and polite. The geographical location is good (just a few mins from the station). Room was nice and clean and modern (double superior). Breakfast was mediocre. Plenty of choices, but some things that should have been warm were not, the toaster didn't really toast, and the sausages were of questionable quality. Some items were not available an hour before breakfast finished. The quality of sleep was terrible. I was woken at 5.30am both mornings by the sound of the industrial bins being emptied from the courtyard outside my window. This is not me being picky, but it sounded like they were being dropped from the 7th floor. Had I not been woken up by this I would not have known. Both days, I attempted to get more sleep after being woken up, but a huge amount of the surrounding area is a building site. It is none stop very loud noise from 8am. Its a dealbreaker for me, starting both of my days super tired with no chance of having a little snooze to catch up on sleep really affected the trip for me. Thanks to the staff for being great, but if sleep is important to you (and that's a huge reason why we book a hotel), then I would look elsewhere.
