Lovely friendly staff and good gym

Nice place for a short business trip. Had a tasty and well prepared dinner. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean and airy as expected. Though a bit of a distance from the city centre if walking I would recommend this place for the business traveller.

Good location for a quick lay over. Very noisy other guests in the form of boy racers waking us up at 0500 with the selfishness in driving off and then the hotels groundskeepers deciding to do some strimming before 0800 on a BH. Could be cleaner. Found dust and hair. When the sauce bottles are running low, they just refill them meaning they’re mixing old and new sauces which gave me an upset tum. They are also left out in the sun.

Good hotel for the cost

We spent 3 nights at the Ibis. The location is great for exploring Manchester and Chester. The room was clean and tidy, my only criticism was the room was a little dark despite having a large window. The bathroom toiletries smelt lovely. Breakfast was lovely with a good selection.

Very clean and well serviced hotel. Slightly basic and didn't have much amenities and facilities, but they haven't advertised that. Will definitely go back again

Hotel was nice enough, no bottle openers, no ice buckets etc, strange

Food was very nice, room was comfortable, perfect for a quick stop over.

Basic room at an average price . Bathroom could have been cleaner , tap needed contstant running as popup plug didnt work properly in the small sink . A fridge would have been good but not a problem as very little time was spent in the room . Most importantly bed was clean and comfortable but needs more pillows . Hotel was lovely and quiet with decent parking and decent views from the room . Quite close to good amenities. Ideal for a cheapish weekend away

Really like this property and have stayed here multiple times now. Like the feel of the hotel, the staff and also the area. I usually choose this over closer options to where i am going the following day as i know it pretty well and exactly what i am going to get. Have previously reviewed through other sites and still remains a 10/10 for me. Eddie is always a great help and good to catch up with him, he remembered my son's milk allergy on sight. Always a comfortable, spacious and enjoyable stay. We did have a little more time this visit too so took advantage of the fitness room which was great. The weather wat particularly warm this time too and could have done with some air conditioning, but it want a huge issue. Great breakfast and other food / drink options and plenty of parking available too. Will definitely be back... again!!

The staff were friendly and professional with a particular mention for Eddy who made our early check in possible which made a big difference to our weekend.
