We love staying at this hotel. It’s one of our favourites and the location is perfect. On this occasion the person who checked us in was not very welcoming and clearly couldn’t be bothered. The staff at breakfast were very stressed and very rude. This won’t stop me using this hotel but the staff need to think about our they conduct themselves with paying customers. Other than that, we love it here.

Breakfast was a bit sad, plenty of choice but low quality. Beds were ok, larger would be better, we didn’t sleep well. On a positive note reception staff were lovely and coffee machines at breakfast were good. Overall not a great experience but adequate.

Great location for the arena , very warm welcome on checking in , nice and roomy room , breakfast was ok , but I prefer my food a bit more cooked and so the bacon sausage eggs etc just didn’t appear to be that , that was only thing that let the hotel down in my opinion

Check In was done online, collected the keycard from reception. The room was alright if a little shabby in the bathroom, warm and quiet which is what we needed after a day shopping in the howling wind. The bar downstairs was well stocked, prices are to be expected for a City hotel. Breakfast was adequate; the sautéed potatoes were better suited for dinner rather than breakfast, but they were tasty nonetheless. The coffee machine was a bit hit and miss, one drink being just frothy milk. Perfect location for the arena, bit of a walk into the shopping quarter. Overall, it was an acceptable stay, but I probably won't book again.

Lovely clean hotel with the most amazing location overlooking the dock and big wheel. Pizza express literally at the front door too. Room was very comfortable, beds great, all expected amenities provided. Small snack and drink station downstairs which was convenient but pricey! Lovely bar area open until 2am if needed.

All the staff were good ---bars, housekeeping and reception We enjoyed our stay with you Food at breakfast and evening meal was very good The young staff 'managed' the fire alarm and following consequences very well Downside----the single bed in room 311---and maybe other rooms --- is too hard The quality of the toilet tissue is poor so one uses twice as much ----False economy We enjoyed our stay
