Convince and nice hotel

Great location. Room could have been cleaner. And maintenance required in the bathroom. Tv didn't really work.

If your disabled avoid this hotel like the plague! It advertises that car parking is £19 for 24hrs, this is not the case once online check in is completed they send you a list of pay and display car parks, the £19 is for a car park which is a solid 10-15 minute walk away from the hotel and it only covers when you put the car in at the end of the night till morning not 24 hrs as advertised... if your planning on going in and out of the car park you have to pay all standard fees evrytime you leave it. There is a 20 minute drop time outside the hotel to unload luggage, but when you have a wheelchair plus cases it takes more than one trip to get everything in... our room was literally the furthest from the lift at the end of the building, so with the wheelchair etc this definitely can't be done in 20 minutes. When we did eventually get into the room, it was extremely disappointing considering it is a 4 star hotel. Amenities wise there was nothing, no fridge, no laptop safe (as advertised) or any kind of safe for that matter, the bathroom had black mould around the bath and tiles, the soap dispenser didnt work, there are stains all over the carpets, giving the room itself a 2 star rating is being generous. Don't plan on staying out after 1 either unless you mind walking up a ramp that goes all the way round the side of the hotel to get back in, the door at the back (closest from car) gets locked, you can't unlock with your key like most hotels, they completely lock it with a key.

Hotel ideal location staff very helpful and friendly clean drinks and food a little overpriced

We have stayed in this hotel a number of times because it is in a great location, rooms are always clean and breakfast options are good.

The staff were friendly and and helpful. The hotel is perfectly placed for sightseeing. Everywhere is immaculately clean . It's quiet during night, so you can have a good sleep. I was given options to choose which floor and the type of bathroom which was excellent That's why I always stay at Leonardos in Liverpool.

Rooms could do with sprucing up Very comfortable beds and low bath was very convenient.

Great hotel. Would stay again and recommend. Parking was bit of a walk away which was a pain, but that is only tiny grumble.

Warm, friendly, competent welcome from reception. We had booked a suite and certainly were not disappointed. Probably one of the nicest rooms we have ever stayed in with terrific views. I am sorry I did not obtain Receptionist’s name. She made my day. A big thank you to her. Room was comfortable and clean. I noticed how hard working staff in restaurant at breakfast time were. All accomplished with a smile so thank you to all. Varied choice for breakfast - excellent, in fact. The young man on reception at check out was friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is positioned perfectly for The Royal Albert Dock. Open top bus stops nearby, ‘ferry cross the Mersey’ within walking distance. How can one not marvel at the sights of the magnificent city of Liverpool? Whether at the docks or further out by The Cultural Quarter, delights await around every corner. I don’t know about Merseybeat. This city has a heartbeat all of its own. It draws me back time and time again. Thank you, Liverpool

Clean room, mattress & pillows were too hard for us. Friendly staff, great selection of food & drinks for breakfast. Great location, close to the Docks & shopping centre. Train station 15-20mins walk away

The staff are very friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. There's lots of local guides/maps/info available in reception, along with a stand of essentials and drinks (prepare for a shock at the prices), but useful if you need something urgently. The Liverpool wheel is right on the door step and the city centre is about 15 mins walk away, through the very historical and well maintained Royal Albert Dock. We will definitely be back :-)

Really great hotel in a fantastic location. You can walk around the docks, walk to the city centre and Liverpool Central Station. Used a a base to go to Royal Birkdale to see the Open. Its was perfect.

Lovely hotel in a great location,staff very helpful and friendly, reasonably priced.

Decent hotel in a good location close to Albert Dock and not too far from bus station. Also very walkable to city centre. Staff were friendly and helpful and rooms clean if a little basic with basic amenities. Remember to phone chargers with you as only one USB available in room. Also disappointing that no water provided in room and VERY expensive to purchase at the hotel @ £3.99 for a small bottle! A Tesco Metro not to far away to purchase your own.

Room was not very clean. Bath tub did not drain well and even after I complained, it still was not sorted properly.

Great hotel, clean, easy to get to, friendly staff perfect central location for a visit to the city!
