I stayed overnight at The Pheasant Inn with my partner. I can only describe my experience as above expectations, The whole hotel is pleasantly decorated and very clean. The staff were very welcoming, polite and the restaurant was fantastic. Generally speaking I tend to book what's available on the booking platforms but having found this gem, will actively search for availability at The Pheasant Inn before trying anywhere else.

Attempted 3 peaks with my partner. We could only finish 2/3. This is a great spot if you know you will be finishing late in the evening. Great service, very friendly staff. Good breakfast variety options. Very comfortable beds, renovated clean bathroom. We will be back to make a second attempt at 3 peaks.

Lovely coaching inn in beautiful Yorkshire Dales. Welcome very friendly as was service throughout stay. Room not huge but adequate and very comfortable bed with good supply of linen. Whole hotel was kept well heated. Beautifully cooked dinner and breakfast. Would definitely stay again though not sure if menu changed much.

Breakfast was great , was a very clean inn/hotel.Rooms were clean and had all the basics but a bit dated but it is an old building so to be expected. Wouldnt hesitate to book again , the staff were all pleasant and polite.No faults whatsoever with our 3 days. Sorry for eating all the toast !

Easy to find. Staff friendly. Although the room felt tired it was clean comfortable and had everything you needed, however as a light sleeper a blackout blind would be welcome. We had a evening meal was absolutely delicious and we would recommend. Would stay here again

Unbelievable back drops and views from the property. Fantastic staff and food and excellent walking in the surrounding areas. Cannot recommend enough this little gem of a place. In summer the garden must be stunning. We will definitely return.

Excellent stay at The Pheasant. Traditional coaching inn with welcoming atmosphere and staff. Spotlessly clean, quiet, comfortable room with countryside view. Bath only, no shower but this did not detract from my stay. Lovely meal in the cosy bar, with welcoming fire. Very helpful and personable staff who couldn't do enough. Excellent breakfast cooked to order. Will stay again when in area. Excellent.
