Fantastic. Spacious, quiet, everything is there except for breakfast or food. I would recommend 100% there must be an option for food but I didn’t see this time. I stayed in the heatwave, very warm in the room but there was a fan. I loved the nature around there and the path way from the gate to the building. So pretty

For what it was, and they were entirely open about the lack of dining options, it was a delightful stay. Rooms were compact but clean, gardens were lovely and there was an exceptionally well signposted footpath led to the local pub. The pool was quaint, basic but quite pretty. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location to the park and ride meant it was extremely easy to get into Central Cambridge.

We have been visiting the property for 18 years, it is a great location and a nice place to stay. However , if you take a room with kitchen facility, you would expect basic stuff like cutlery, plates etc there was nothing! Bathroom no shower gel or shampoo. This day and age you would expect basic things like that.

All good, just hard to stay in heat, gravel road around and you have to drag yourself through it .. otherwise ok for the price.

Beautiful large clean room in this out of the way delightful Cambridge setting. Automatic gates lead to a pebbled driveway with ample parking, large original house divided into guest rooms also serves as an ensite bar and reception area, with seperate anex buildings housing other rooms and chalets, entry via key and electronic door release. Situated just 5 mins walk from Cambridge, Madingley Park and Ride, with easy access to town and colleges. Point of note no restuarant or breakfast served onsite. Will return.

Despite having a fridge in the room, it was deliberately turned off and unavailable for use unless we paid an additional "upgrade" fee, which was disappointing especially during the heatwave.

I stayed here with my son. Room was really hot and therefore very uncomfortable. Fan supplied was very poor. We couldn't find the bar and couldn't gain access to the vending machines in the other building. Spent a sleepless night with no drinks. Couldn't voice our issues in morning as no one in reception.

Lovely house with good standard of cleanliness. There were no problem with parking. Very disappointed that there was no restaurant for breakfast as stated when booked. As reception only opened at 4pm there was nobody to help with room issue. There was a tel number provided to call for assistance but no one answered. Shame as nice place to stay.

This is a difficult one to write about because the room was excellent and so was the pool (especially considering it was 37 degrees when we were there). The shower was brilliant, very powerful. The tea tray was good and liked having a teapot. Room clean. We had a bit of trouble with the booking as we did it through Expedia, so I don’t know whether it was Expedia or the hotel that the problem came with, but it declined one of our bank cards and when we had the card checked out with the bank they said there was nothing wrong. Then we paid for the accommodation on another card and we thought that was the end of it but then it kept saying the card had been declined to take the £50 refundable deposit-but if they had managed to take the payment, why didn’t they take the deposit at the same time? Either card worked. They took this deposit and then still kept sending me messages saying they couldn’t take the payment. Obviously this can be very worrying because we don’t know whether we are being scammed. Also I can’t really blame the hotel because of the extreme weather-the room was too hot to sleep and I had to have two showers in the night to cool down (the shower was amazing, very powerful) but, we could only open one small window partially even though there were two windows (one was locked), we understand they will say we could only open the window because of health and safety but across from us, in communal areas, there were windows wide open.
