St Christopher's Inn, Hammersmith - Hostel

The hostel was pretty good. Both the kettle and the microwave broke down, but the bar staff were available to provide hot water.

Room was ok just people who you share not very tidy or clean

Fast check-in and check-out, good clean bed, comfortable bedding and room temperature. However, the toilets were very dirty. That aside, having a kettle was lovely. Good for a short one night stay

I booked the 8-bed female ensuite. I really didn't have any high expectations. But to my pleasant surprise both the room and bathroom were neat and smelled good. Good water flow. Neat white beddings. And the roommates were respectful of each other. Even though you walk into some loud music at the reception, the rooms are kind of insulated. They are quiet and soothing and the music doesn't filter through. It's a superb location too. Easy to find food, shops and transportation. I had a good experience.

The staff was awesome and the peppy was very neat. The bed space large and the privacy was top notch.

Good location in West London with underground near and buses to explore London. Shower great, adjustable hot and cold.

The hostel was ok but the room was awful. The windows did not open all the way allowing air to come in the room the drains in the shower and sink were very slow to drain the space was cramped

Very nice hostel.

Too noisy and no AC/fan. Get ready for roasty nights.

Improve on cleaning

It’s great having a bar and restaurant nearby and the area is diverse, vibrant, and lively. Annie and Alan were fantastic in helpful. I and my friend had a private 2-bed room which was cute but went during what turned out to be a heatwave and the room was hot so be prepared for that if you’re going during a heatwave lol. But otherwise it was great: convenient, affordable, clean, great staff, and fun environment and area.

This hostel used to be great. Unfortunately, it's the disrespectful guests that have let me down. After checking in, the room was wide open and someone obstructed the entrance with a bin, which is a health and safety violation. Guests were being loud with their phones and put their movies on full blast - at 12am! The receptionist did a good job by closing the door and ask the guests to turn their phone volumes off. Unfortunately, one of the guests put their phones on loud 3 times, up until 5am. I couldn't sleep at all, in which made me feel severely agitated. I informed the receptionist about this. Because of this, I had no sleep whatsoever. I had to take a day off work because I was ill due to no sleep. I lost a days pay because of this, and I will be seeking further action - resulting in covering my loss of earnings and refund for my stay. Disrespectful guests. AVOID THIS PROPERTY AT ALL COSTS if you want to sleep.

Really hard to find the place, would have been nice to know it's part of Belushis! I walked past it twice, no indication on the outside at all!! It was a little noisy, but totally understandable given the location. Fabulous value for money as always, helpful staff. light/power socket really accessible and useful, which is always fantastic!
