Just a lovely place with plenty off outdoor spaces

Property was advertised as having wifi, which was why we booked. This wasn’t working as the owner of the property hadn’t paid for it and the management on site said it had nothing to do with them. There was no phone signal at the property s WiFi was key. There was even a sticker on the window of the property stating free wifi. When you plan for this and it’s not provided or even solved by the onsite management it has a detrimental effect on our stay.

Enjoyed our stay .3 seater settee would of been better and more comfortable than a small 2 seater.also doulble bed was a bit tight as were both 6ft weather was terrible. But we were nice and warm .and would book again.

We love The Bay ! We've been visiting for a number of years and each time we have an very enjoyable stay. Great that there's a small grocery shop now !! Only downside is the John Paul Jones. Lovely staff & service but the place is freezing & the food & drinks really overpriced !! Will visit again but won't be eating on site.

We had a lovely stay at the Bay. We were disappointed that there wasn’t any WiFi in the cottage but other than this we would definitely come again. We’d probably choose a different property if we knew there wasn’t WiFi.

Excellent location near the beach. Good condition of new holiday houses. But a bit outdated shared facilities, such as changing room at the swimming pool.

Overall ok but black mould in bathroom easily removable with mould and mildew spray but they did'nt bother

Poor signage makes it difficult to find correct property. Kitchenware dirty and had to wash it before we could eat or drink. dishwasher and fridge broken, bathroom floor dirty and toilet full of limescale. rooms starting to look shabby. bed and settee comfortable grounds tidy and handy for beach.

The bed was so bad we came home a day early and there was no hair dryer and I have long hair so not good at all .No cushions so very uncomfortable and no internet. Also the parking spaces in front were always full so had to park quite a way away .

The property was lovely thought we should have had free wiffy for 2 days. Only noisy with some children. Otherwise property was realky good. Defo go back.

The cleanliness leaves a lot to desired the mattress was stained in places and the pillows are discoloured with sweat stains and of poor quality. There was also an abundance of flies. I would not recommend this property or park to anyone else and will not be returning in the future

The floors downstairs were wet on arrival. We were unable to get access to the property until 4.30pm instead of 4pm as advertised because it was still being cleaned. There was dried dog food on the kitchen floor.and food splash marks on the kitchen wall. The dish washer was full of dirty dishes. The dish washer was broken but we managed to fix it. The door shelf in the fridge was broken . Then we were told that the swimming pool was out of use for the duration of the holiday. One of the reasons we booked the holiday was for the swimming pool.

Excellent very clean

We holidayed for two nights with our dog at the beginning of october. The location of this resort was perfect and close to nearby towns and beach and we really enjoyed exploring. The beach is wonderful too. Unfortunately our flat was very unclean, bathroom was grubby, kitchen wasn’t that clean and the cups and dishes were actually filthy and some even bad food still stuck to them :( The space in the flat was enough for the three of us! However it was very uncomfortable… the chairs in the living room were uncomfortable and there wasn’t enough room for the three of us to relax. I think maybe a small corner sofa would have been better. Despite the condition of the flat, we made the most of our stay and would probably give it another chance. Purely based on location.

We stayed in a 2 bedroomed cottage. The site is beautifully kept and very clean. The cottage itself could do with more sturdy furniture settee too low for us arthritics, the lack of a mirror in any bedroom was a problem when drying hair. Also need to provide instruction for dishwasher, microwave cooker and hob. Lovely onsite facilities a more extensive menu in the pub would improve the holiday experience overall. Having said that we will be back ash had a great time despite a few issues.

Our room was lacking in any personal touches, no welcome pack of tea, coffee, not even handwash or soap in bathroom. Oven was provided but there no baking trays or grill pan to use in it. I think they were hoping you'd dine in the pub &/or pizzeria but reason we chose self catering was to do our own! And of course, with not providing any essentials such as tea & toiletries they were also probably hoping we'd use the onsite shop! We wanted to let reception know about a problem in the bathroom too on checking out, but staff were too busy chatting to even ask how the accom was.

The property was spacious and had everything I needed. The mattress on the bed had probably never been changed since the place was built and had lost any firmness it used to possess. I gained some respite by turning it over.

Excellent location, parking outside door. Everything we needed on site
