Lovely anniversary stay. We were married here 18 years ago and the standards have never slipped. It’s a great property within the Bolton Abbey Estate. Excellent walks and free spa facilities :)

Our stay was excellent. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Only have one comment, the breakfast could have been a little bit hotter.
The Devonshire Arms is in a beautiful part off Skipton with brilliant walks around. We would recommend to all.
We would go again if only to try out the spa.

We recently stayed for one night following a wedding reception in one of the private rooms. The hotel itself was charming, with log fires burning and many cosy places to sit and relax in. The staff were superb from the moment we arrived, coming out to see if we needed help with our bags and during the reception they were extremely attentive, nothing was too much trouble. Our dinner in the evening was delicious and the preparation of the dining room for the wedding was faultless. We had such an enjoyable time that we’ve already planned to go back next year to celebrate the first wedding anniversary.

Enjoyed the surrounding area -the views from our bedroom were lovely. Food was excellent . Staff friendly.
What we didn’t like was our bedroom door was left unlocked after staff had been in. We discovered this upon returning to our room and not having to use our key to open the door
