We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Griffin Belle last week! From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming, helpful, and full of great local tips — they really made our stay extra special.
Our room was clean, comfy, and quiet — just what we needed after travelling — and the location couldn’t have been more convenient. We had early morning appointments at the US Embassy, and being just a 10-minute walk away made everything so easy and stress-free.
The pub downstairs is a real highlight too — buzzing atmosphere, great food, and friendly service (special thanks to the team behind the bar!). It’s rare to find somewhere that gets both the comfort and character just right, but the Griffin Belle absolutely does. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!

Great customer service and absolutely perfect location for a trip to the US Embassy. just a ten minute walk. Bar area and room very spacious with everything you need. Breakfast was very good!

Staff is really lovely, and inclusive breakfast a bonus. The rooms are kept clean, tidy and a little quirky. The mattress showed a bit of use - and shower drain a bit smelly. If you’re looking for a quiet pub hotel - this isn’t it. There is double glazing which helps. Easy walk from Vauxhall.

The watet in the shower wasn't hot enough. The wifi was weak and the electricity kept tripping when I plugged my laptop so was forced to work from the bar.

This is a great place to stay just south of the river. I walked to Parliament Square in 35 minutes but also near Nine Elms Tube. Its a classic pub with rooms. My Fontera room was warm, clean and cosy. Nice bathroom with spacious shower. The room was small but I have had smaller in London. Big TV in room and big screen sports downstairs in the nice pub. There was no real ale available though - handpumps fitted but no beer that night. Staff were exceptional, everyone extremely pleasant and helpful. An excellent choice at a reasonable price.

The room was incredibly small, the bed was really uncomfortable. The pillows were really lumpy. The walls are super thin, could hear the next room snore. Overall just was a really bad stay
