A warm welcome at check in including a welcome drink. Great hosting and a clean room with a good shower. Breakfast was very good with pleasant service. Would stay here again.

Great little spot, really welcoming. Beer on arrival! We were there for the cricket at the Oval - literally a 10-15 minute walk away. Great pub to watch live sport too!

Lovely room, shower not so great. Pressure was awful. Could barely shower but hotel was very clean, bed was fab and comfortable.

I visited prior to an appointment at the US Embassy. This was a perfect place to get my head down and within walking distance of the Embassy. The staff were extremely helpful and the breakfast was really good

The gentleman who checked us in and showed us to our rooms, could have been a proprietor, regarding the extreme professionalism, high attention to detail, and overwhelming sense of welcoming that he greeted us with. My wife and I stayed there with two more members of our family in a separate room, and our rooms were top-notch, and also all of the service staff treated us great. Easy walk down the riverfront to all of the main tourist spots, and neighborhood felt safe. The breakfast was great, all of the food we tried was actually. Highly recommend.

I booked because of the convenience of the location. The place greatly exceeded my expectations. The staff were extremely kind and friendly, and the pub food was delicious. I look forward to staying there again.

A terrific alternative to the sterile "luxury" hotels. Real close to the underground and bus line. Only 20 minutes to central to Central London. English breakfast to die for.

We arrived in the first heat wave of May. They had new AC units but unfortunately they blew a fuse so our room was a hot box. The staff were excellent though, very understanding and helpful. Since our AC and Window did not open, they had 1 room left they could switch us to where the window did open. That was appreciated! The restaurant below has great deals and we took advantage of BOGO 50% burgers and 50% a bottle of prosecco on Friday. They also offer to hold onto your luggage incase you need that service. It’s a very cool hotel!

Great stay with a delicious breakfast

We stayed here for one night and found the room tidy and the bed very comfortable. The staff were also very helpful throughout our stay. The room could do with some updating, as the carpet had a few stains and the walls looked like they hadn’t been painted in a while. However, the location was great for the embassy and the underground station was only a short walk away. Overall, we would stay here again if needed. Breakfast had a small selection on offer,

The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful! The location is perfect for the US Embassy and the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful about it. If I ever need to go again I will definitely stay here.

Room was lovely and clean, absolutely fine for a one night stay. Bed was very comfy. But... walls are incredibly thin, could hear every word of next door's 5am conversation. Breakfast was welcomed but not amazing. Staff were lovely!
