Second time of visiting. Lovely place and always lovely staff.
Room is beautiful but cleaning standards could be better. Thick dust on the top of the shower and glass shelves. The bath has a dirty rim where the overflow is. The skirtings have a lot of dust. We love this place and would stay again but think they need to address the cleaning.

Ample parking, well-appointed room, staff generally helpful. We stayed in the ‘Indulgence Suite’ and were impressed by the room, but sadly didn’t get to enjoy a relaxing evening as there was a party going on that was just so, so loud until 11pm. Pub food was extremely disappointing, very over-priced for quality. Breakfast was tasty and a good selection, but at 9am there was no bread, plates or bowls for the buffet so wasn’t very well-maintained. Bed was very uncomfortable unfortunately. Room was very dark and quiet once music had stopped though.

Sadly this does not take away from the tired rooms.
We had booked a suite which was better when we viewed it but due to a significant leg injury I could not get up and down the stairs.
… So we asked and were moved to a basic room on the ground floor (We didn’t ask for refund on room and wasn’t offered one) so paid over the top for our 3 nights.
Bed was comfy and tea and coffee facilities good but room was dingy, dark, smelt a bit fusty and in desperate need of a lick of paint and updating.
Food was good quality pub food but not better than that. Breakfast was good too.
All in all we had a restful stay as planned but surroundings were sadly worse than home so wouldn’t return just for those reasons.
