Omg the indulgence suite is named well! I treated myself to a night on my own and it was pure heaven. The food was great, the staff very friendly smily and helpful and the suite was AMAZING. The bed !!! Wow -was the best nights sleep I’ve ever had and the bath..Omg-the bath 👌👌 I booked it for the bath especially and it did not disappoint! I cannot recommend this place highly enough and ladies treat yourself with or without a partner!! Seriously considering booking every couple of months for some ‘me time’ luxury.

Lovely stay at the Princess Royal - very comfy, quiet and very impressed generally with facilities and friendliness of staff. Had dinner in the pub and that was also very tasty.

Great place with a well equipped and relaxing place to stay. We missed Sunday evening food, but the team let us use Deliveroo and provided plates etc.

This was a nice surprise- not an outdated older pub hotel experience, very nicely updated rooms and bathroom - the tub was actually large enough to take real bath if you wanted to! Having breakfast included was great, and it was cooked to order... lots of options and not just the 'English" breakfast. Would definitely stay again if in the area. Kid and dog friendly as well.

A nice clean room, one of the cleanest I have stayed in. Comfortable and warm with a good powerful shower. All the staff (reception, restaurant and housekeeping) were lovely and super helpful. A great freshly cooked breakfast finished our stay this morning. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay.

Lovely hotel, gorgeous room, very clean, lovely breakfast, we had a great evening here.

We only stayed for one night but were very impressed by our room. It was very comfortable and well-equipped with tea and coffee making facilities. The triple glazing was excellent at keeping out the road noise, and we didn't hear a thing. We would definitely recommend it.

Check in was a little difficult to find as it was at the side of the bar. Service was friendly. Was surprised that there was only 1 chair in the room even though it wa a double room. Bathroom seemed very "squished" due to slope of wall. Could have been made square and then there would be more room and place to put hooks for towels. It felt a little clostrophobic Pleasant stay and breakfast was good.

Super rooms, everything you could need (fridge, iron, usb sockets, big TV, power shower, luxury toiletries, hangers, drawers, desk, chairs, aircon etc.). Lots of on-site parking, great food and excellent beer choice. Staff helpful and friendly and everything you could want for breakfast. Worth staying here.

The facility was great, neat and comfy. My room was very spacious and well-maintained. There was some rattling on the corridor floor. The location is secure and quiet but the car park was pretty busy.

Really nice hotel, everything was clean and worked, nothing old or worn out. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Breakfast very tasty. Almost five stars, apart from some small niggles: The bed was a bit firm for my taste, and I like it firm; The heater/air conditioner was pointed straight at the bed and blew alternate warm and cool air in my face all night; Coffee at breakfast wasn't self service and I was never offered a refill; Choice of fruits at breakfast was limited (just melon or watermelon), and I was there in the first half. I'd still happily stay there again, though.
