All of the above I was particularly impressed that when I asked about getting a taxi to a concert about 6 miles away that the staff gave me the number for a shuttle bus that would pick us up from the pub and take us to the concert and bring us back again so that was a huge surprise and a really big help

Friendly, helpful staff, very welcoming on arrival. Nothing too much trouble. Beautiful room and bathroom and the thickest, most luxurious towels you can have. It was one of the hottest nights when we stayed over, so the room was extremely warm, although they kindly provided us with a fan. Excellent breakfast and fabulous service by the lovely Lucy.

The building is stunning, rooms lovely and clean, beds comfy. We stayed in Wye room, only negative was the noisy road. Nice hot shower. Tea facilities. Food in restaurant was very good as was the breakfast. Not far from Ludlow town centre, roughly 15 mins in the car. Asda express & garage next door for anything you might of forgotten. Overall a lovely stay, Ludlow is stunning Ironbridge is a definite visit.

Very old decro room , was ok ,but not to my taste. Staff very friendly and overall good. It is a pub but it was not noisy in the night. Short drive to the town. I would prefer to walk to Ludlow but we could not find anything closer.

This is a converted coaching inn at the junction of a few roads. Easy parking, good breakfasts and dinners, plenty of character. A bit of a downside if you’re a light sleeper with the traffic and kitchen exhaust system. Otherwise, easy place to stay.

I had never stayed in a room above a Public House but I was amazed just how good the Staff made me feel. I was escorted to a lovely clean room with excellent facilities. I soon realised that the owners took personal control of guest relations when I requested extra warm bedding, it was delivered to my room by one of the co-owners, in person! This level of attention to detail continued throughout my stay and nothing was too much trouble. The food served on the premises was cooked to a high standard and I enjoyed all selections that I ate. I also provided constructive feedback when I felt one particular dish would have been better served on a plate instead of a wooden platter. A minor detail when considered amongst the warmth extended to residents and non residents alike. I am sure that I will return to The Salwey Arms next year, if still under the same management Team. Thank you for everything.
