The food was excellent with a great vibe in the pub & lovely fires to sit next to. The room was spacious and very comfy bed. Definitely recommend 😃

Nice welcome, shown to our room which was spotless and nice and warm, the bed was very comfortable. Nice bathroom, soft towels and plenty of hot water. Nice evening meal in the restaurant,good selection on the menu. Breakfast menu was good, and well prepared. Nice and friendly staff..we would definitely stay again.

I had never stayed in a room above a Public House but I was amazed just how good the Staff made me feel. I was escorted to a lovely clean room with excellent facilities. I soon realised that the owners took personal control of guest relations when I requested extra warm bedding, it was delivered to my room by one of the co-owners, in person! This level of attention to detail continued throughout my stay and nothing was too much trouble. The food served on the premises was cooked to a high standard and I enjoyed all selections that I ate. I also provided constructive feedback when I felt one particular dish would have been better served on a plate instead of a wooden platter. A minor detail when considered amongst the warmth extended to residents and non residents alike. I am sure that I will return to The Salwey Arms next year, if still under the same management Team. Thank you for everything.

The location and layout of the hotel was excellent. We only had a cooked breakfast here and that was excellent and cooked well.

Nice staff and great food. No shower in the room, no iron in the room. Located very close to a main road with single glazed windows. Very loud Seemed to be understaffed, a lot of waiting Very basic table and chairs in the restaurant area, but they do have a nice snug

We had a fantastic stay at Salwey Arms! Staff are amazing, went above and beyond to meet our needs to ensure our short break went to plan, even offering to transport us into Ludlow as we were struggling to secure a taxi. Which in the end they managed to sort for us, both there and back enabling us to attend pre-booked live concert at Ludlow Castle. We were able to check-in earlier than planned, our room was cosy, spotlessly clean with everything we could possibly need. The bed was extremely comfortable with high quality bedding, which enabled a great nights sleep. Breakfast was delicious, cooked fresh to order and the menu provided a lovely range of options. A great place to stay!

Lovely setting and friendly staff. Met with a smile although they were busy, comfortable room and we were very relaxed overall. Thank you.

The staff and owners were extremely friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was excellent and the stay included an excellent breakfast with as much coffee (or if you prefer, tea) as needed.
