The stay was ok, I thought the triple room was a double and a single but it's 3 singles - thats my fault for not paying attention. One to note is the pub doesn't do food, it doesn't say it does on Hotels.com but I made the mistake of looking on Google which shows pictures of menus and food so I assumed it did... The bas was busy and friendly enough (football night, showing on the tv's) Where it loses stars is I went down to breakfast at the time arranged when I checked in and the pub was locked and the lights off, knocked on the doors but nobody seemed to be about so as I was only there for 1 night I put the key back in the room and left for work...

I was put in a room with 3 single beds. I tried all 3 and they were all extremely uncomfortable. The room is very run down and dirty. The bathroom was cold as the heating didn't work and the shower does not have enough power to have a decent shower. All in all it was an awful experience

Clean and tidy room in a pub, was not disturbed by being in a pub. We went out early [before breakfast] one day and the landlady offered to do us a pack as we would miss breakfast. 15 min walk to the railway station down hill. Would use again.

Good sized room, with comfortable bed, and tea /coffee making facilities - Tassimo coffee maker! Friendly staff, without being over-bearing. Delicious breakfast and was allowed to addt a sausage and grilled tomato to Eggs Benedict. Staff went over and above on the Saturday night, by lending an iPhone charger, as I had left mine at home.

The room was spacious, well decorated, with good facilities and was good value for money. The breakfast was very generous with good quality sausages. The only slight downside was that the mattress wasn't the most comfortable that I've ever had in a hotel but for the price, I can't really complain.
