The Wilson Arms

The room was very clean and the bathroom too. The staff were really nice and friendly. Our bed was really comfy . It's in a quiet little village not far from Whitby. As out of season it was very quiet. Ate in restaurant, was a really good menu. Would recommend

The room was spotless, modern and spacious. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the food excellent, with a very good choice for evening meal and breakfast, as well as the food being piping hot.

The room was lovely clean and cosy with great views across towarrds Whitby and the Abbey. Food was delicious and the staff really friendly and helpful

Very clean, pleasant staff, good food

Parking safe, plesent welcome, all staff very nice, bar and food first class, room clean and likable only complaint no heating on after about 10am on a morning . Very cold by afternoon,had to sleep in socks and dressing gown but heating comes on about 3am early morning so wake up sweating. But room nice and warm till after breakfast. Was told before we left something wrong with boiler. Was all ok and perfect other then the heating but managed to get by still slept well. Would go back and stay again no problem and recormend it to family and friends and would give our stay a 9/10.

This hotel is a gem. I would certainly recommend it. Lovely food and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Wish we had stayed longer

My third time staying at the Wilson Inn. Always a very welcoming hotel in a great location on the North York moors. Rooms are spacious, well furnished and maintained. Bar, which always has a warm feel, has good selection of food & drinks (local beers) - with restaurant seating also available. Highly recommended.

A real home from home. We were made to feel welcome the moment we walked in. The hotel is splendid and extremely clean. Staff are very friendly. Our room was excellent. Food was beautiful and plentiful. Our thanks to Dawn, the owner for a lovely stay.

The Wilsons Arms is a delightful hotel, in a hamlet, away from the hustle and bustle of Whitby. The rooms were beautiful but one bin had not been emptied and one shower did not function properly in the evening. It did the next morning. Staff were friendly and the pub had a wonderful atmosphere in the evening.

The Wilson Arms is a great place for an overnight stay . Rooms are well fitted clean and spacious , food at breakfast was good, nice evening bar on site and staff helpful etc. Enjoyed my stay, would definitely use again!

It was a lovely place to stay but the room was cold and no hot water or none of the usual toiletries you would expect to find. Also toe nail clippings at side of bed which was gross. More pillows would have been good. Food was lovely and a very modern stylish restaurant.

I have stopped here a number of times now, and its always great. the staff are friendly, the rooms really good and clean. the evening meals and breakfast are excellent. A great place to stay.

Lovely hotel, situated in a lovely village with views of Whitby abbey from our window, recently renovated. Bedroom was nice and clean as was bathroom, 2 pillows were provided one hardish the other soft but flatter, could have done with something in between. Evening meal and breakfast were good, well cooked and hot. Was in a lovely quiet area so very quiet on a night. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Could do with a shower holder in the shower so not bobbing up and down to get things off the shower floor, but that's a minor thing. Had a lovely folk band on in the new extension area. Would definitely recommend and definitely stay here again.
