Perfect location, great breakfast

Excellent location within easy walking distance of city centre and transport options. The communal areas are in great condition and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent with a wide range of choice including vegan / gluten free etc. Unfortunately the rooms are in dire need of a refurb and it is for that reason I wouldn't stay again. The furnishings are bashed up and headboards are peeling off. The curtains are dirty and the beds/pillows are very uncomfortable. We asked to be moved to a different room but it was no better. The staff were apologetic and acknowledged the rooms needed refurbs but it didn't really help us at the time. A real shame as it is definitely not what you expect from a Radisson.

We loved the hotel and the staff. The location of the hotel was convenient, being walking distance to the train station and many site seeing buildings. The staff were very helpful and they even let us store our luggage there when we returned 3 days later. The buffet breakfast was amazing with lots of variety. Would highly recommend.

I recently stayed at the Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Upon arrival, I was given a room that was not properly cleaned; the bed sheets had noticeable stains, and it seemed as though they had not been washed. Additionally, the mattress had no covering. After bringing this to the attention of the reception, they were accommodating and moved me to a different room. However, the second room also had issues. There were hairs on the bed, and once again, the mattress lacked any covering Frustrated, I requested a room on another floor. Finally, I was placed in a clean room, which was a relief. Unfortunately, the problems did not end there. The following day, when I requested room cleaning, I was disappointed to find that the housekeeper did not wipe the toilet seats, the floor wasn’t swept, and the sheets were not changed. While I must commend the reception staff for their kindness and willingness to assist, the overall cleaning standards at the hotel were severely lacking. Cleanliness is a fundamental aspect of any hotel stay, and in this regard, the Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel fell short. I hope they can improve their housekeeping practices in the future, as I would have loved to enjoy my stay otherwise. Stayed for 2 nights and it was very comfortable room. Had breakfast included and it is a very good option. The lounge area is nice to relax in as well. Very close to the central station and Helsinki is very compact so was only 10-15 minutes walk to pretty much everything.

Strategic location, just next to Central Station. Walkable to most of the tourists attraction, also love the variety choice of breakfast

Third time staying in the hotel. Room style varies between rustic or more classy/ contemporaneous styles but both very clean. Less than 5 mins walkable distance from train station and direct route from airport. Location felt safe, reasonable distance from port and multiple dining options. Plus the staff and service were good.
