We had a great family stay at the Hotel Saint Louis. The staff were really friendly, the room was clean and had everything we needed and the hotel is in a good location for walking to Monmatre. There are also two metro stations close by.
If you are going with children, then be aware that Pigalle still has lots of 'adult establishments' - but it didn't ever feel unsafe walking in the area around the hotel.
It was a great base for exploring Paris. We would definitely go back.

Loved staying here and would stay again. I traveled in the off season so the hotel was no busy at all. The hotel was also kind enough to fulfill my request of a higher floor and my room was quiet and was not street facing. The bed was comfortable and I loved the rainfall/waterfall shower (nice water pressure and even temperature).
Ian at the front desk spoke excellent English and was very helpful with everything I needed. I was even able to check in early (11am) as my room had already been cleaned - likely because the hotel was not very busy/off peak travel.
Location was perfect and an easy 1mile walk from the train station. And only a few minutes walk to Montmartre without being in the thick of it. Safe and clean area.

Place is a nice and cozy place. The balcony was a plus. The only thing we disliked was that we had no control over the AC/heater. We had to call front desk every time we wanted it changed. It got cold at night and we called to turn the heat up but we never felt it get warm. The room didn’t have blankets only a thin comforter. Other than that it was a nice place.

Excellent staff at this hotel. Especially Noelle. Cant say enough good things about the staff. Only reason not getting 10 out of 10 is that area is noisy making it difficult to sleep if windows are open. (On street side)

The room was charming, albeit a bit on the smaller side, but it was perfect for our needs. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Special thanks to Alex, who was especially helpful in recommending some fantastic places to visit. The location is excellent—right in the Montmartre area with easy access to the metro. It's also conveniently close to the Moulin Rouge and a must-visit restaurant and cocktail bar, Pink Mamma. Would definitely stay here again!
