They were almost bothered by my being there . I felt they did not like Americans . Very aloof and no friendly conversation. It is very remote and they kept asking why I didn't stay in st jean pied de port if I'm a pilgrim. I would have thought they would be thrilled. It's not " hip" at all , more like a retirement community. I expected more for what they charged me .

Hotel is 8 km from St Jean an quite isolated - one other Auberge not open. Meals were somewhat limited and dear when compared with restaurants with local competition. Lovely village with lots of walking on the doorstep

Parfaitement situé pour visiter le pays basque depuis les plages jusqu'à l'arrière pays, l'hôtel est d'un excellent rapport qualité-prix. On sent que l'établissement est géré avec rigueur, il est propre, bien entretenu et l'équipe est disponible et agréable. L'hôtel est charmant, il donne directement sur un enclos à moutons et de l'autre côté, un restaurant traditionnel à 30 mètres. Mes enfants (adolescents) ma femme et moi avons été sous le charme !

2 nuit bien agréable, bien que complet et familial l’hôtel est calme et apaisant au bord du ruisseau. Les propriétaires sont au petit soins avec vous et la piscine permet de se détendre en fin de journée. Comprenant qu’un spa est difficile à entretenir ce dernier ne donnait pas envie.

Petit séjour de 3 jours dans ce petit havre de paix. Chambre confortable, salle de bain spacieuse, piscine grande et propre avec petite salle de sport et jacuzzi. Les plats typiques sont cuisinés avec des produits frais et de qualité. Et la cerise sur le gâteau, vous serez accueillis comme à la maison par la plus sympathique et charmante des patronnes. Les propriétaires ainsi que tout le personnel ont à coeur de faire en sorte que le séjour se passe le mieux possible. Un grand merci pour tout.
